It's a cool feature; odd that the screens aren't the same on all platforms. But hey, it's working!

The first one I did, I had to paste the screenshot into photoshop and draw an arrow, not use an arrow-shape-maker tool.

Nope, that download icon does not appear on my phone app. I'm signed in, etc, but there's no icon. Is it in settings or somewhere?
Try tapping the "gear wheel" icon at the upper-right corner, then "Cache Options" >> "Cache Autofill". That should let you choose a channel or channels.

Not sure if the Android is different but my iPhone I press the three little buttons aligned vertically on the right and on the pop-up menu the down arrow in the circle (second from the left)

Yes. In the app, look for the little "download" icon in the top right corner. Choose your preferred mix and it will walk you through the steps...
