Making sense of what I've heard
And what is on my mind
Well don't look down cos it's far to fall
Oh yeah

Count the hours face the fear
It's all you need these days
We're past the post and through the door

We welcome commercial suicide
Kiss the love you leave behind
And let it bother you
Well you do what it takes to get what you can

Last night I thought about her
... love and what I do
It's hanging over me
I'm sure to break your loving heart

I'm down and take a walk down a sugar coated sonified
I've been hanging around for hours
Staring at your holy ground
Ooooooh

...
I might've known that you'd be tearing up the photographs
Oooooh

At sight of all I've done been taken for higher ground
... china dolls and better times
This side of life...
you know this living hell solid gold coming for no one

Audacity is available for Mac & Linux also. Excellent open source audio editor.
Can we find this song in .mogg file format for Audacity  on the net ?
great segue from Porcupine Tree point 3 going on here.

I doubt these guys ever heard anything by Renaissance, but you never know.

I sure miss Supergrass, especially in the summer for some reason.

Gaz Coombes solo album, which is terrific - will have to do.
Awesome song to crank at any time, but especially as the sun comes blasting through the last shreds of a snowstorm and shines forth! I dig the multilayered guitar-jamming, the wicked keyboards, and the killer percussion throughout and the way it builds, flows and ebbs.
This is one of those songs that reminds me of one or more other songs from the deep part of my memory. I'm not saying that's a bad thing either. I quite like it, but it just stirs other memories.

Very nice tune I've long enjoyed here on RP, except for the obnoxious screaming bits halfway in (or whatever). I used the (free) Audacity (sorry, Windows only) to edit that bit out and now the track is much better.

I didn't know Audacity was available for Windows; I''ve been using it for years in Linux.

Supertramp! err Supergrass

The introduction does sound like Supertramp but the rest?  Much better.  {#Music}

Gaz Goombes is so very underrated as a guitarist. The lines on this song, even tho' I might quibble with the tone, are amazing.

like so many 'great songs' on rp, after 8 years of repetition they start to grind, from 10 then to 7 now, ah well..? {#Stop} so much for 'tales of endurance', in another 8 years it'll be down to sucko barfo i suppose..?

             EPIC!

''Excrementa''
would be more accurate

Doctor Sigmund has expressed his concerns regarding the way you systematically twist conversations around to focus on
your excreta...
