Say you're the dreamer
And come dream on
Say you believe her
And believe in me
So bring your lovin' back here
Bring your lovin' back here
Bring your lovin' back here
Bring your lovin' back here
I can't deceive ya
Won't you be with me
I didn't leave ya
It's you leaving me
'Cause you're not sure
With all your wealth
I wanna see you again
So bring your lovin' back here
Bring your lovin' back here
Bring your lovin' back here
Bring your lovin' back here
I wanna take you out tonight
Punches would be rolling
Blood it would be flowing
I can't fight
You're bound to put one in my eye
But this is not about you
This is about me
So bring your lovin' back here
Bring your lovin' back here
Bring your lovin' back here
Bring your lovin' back here
Please don't leave me alone again
(Don't leave me alone again)
Please don't leave me alone again
(Don't leave me alone again)
Please don't leave me alone again
I just wanna lie low
I just wanna lie low
I just wanna lie low
And come dream on
Say you believe her

Ben and Ian are touring the Liquid Skin album this fall.
Hard to believe this was released almost 24 years ago...how damn old am I?
Saw Ben and Ian at Jammin' Java this past October during the Bring It On 25th anniversary tour. What fun!

That was a new Gomez tune for me and I loved it! Not surpised though, he could sign the phone book and I'd probably love it.

That sure sounds like Lucinda Williams doing backing vocals. I know, I know, but who is it?
GOOOOOOMEZZZZZ! I love that you guys appreciate this creative band of lads. They are an amazing band to see live as well. Just wish they'd release some new work.

9.0...... no question. Gomez has been one of my "go to" bands for a long time. That said they lost a bit of that hard edge after their third or fourth album..... "In Our Gun" is still my favorite.

Check out some of their earlier works such as the albums... Bring It On, Liquid Skin and In Our Gun. Excellent stuff!
Good band with many better songs than this.....seems to be a unified comment. "See The World", "How We Operate" are two better examples of Gomez IMHO

It was on top of my gigi came lately.
I love Gomez. This is not their best song, but they write some really good music.
I was really sad, though, when I saw them in Houston a few years ago, and they were just boring. It was one of the few concerts my wife and I actually walked out on. There was absolutely no stage presence whatsoever, and we'll probably never go to one of their live shows again.
Sadly, it impacted how much we listen to their music now. :(

not sure what it is about Gomez. love some of their stuff, but I have to say, some of it is junk. It's almost like they never really tried hard enough, never quite hitting their true potential. shame.
Where is the PSD button? I can't seem to find it.
Ouch. Thank you RP for PSD
As bad as the German national-player (football - what you call "soccer") with the same name!
Big Gomez fan right here. That's right. You heard me.
One of the first -- or maybe it was the 1st -- Gomez numbers I heard here, and one of the first songs I heard the first time I found Paradise!
Pretty good, not heard this one before, but the slide instantly won me over.

I am , personally, dying to see them live. I have a dvd of one of their concerts and Yes, I would have to say the rock the house. Their style runs the gamut and that may be what throws some people off. But, they are one of my favorite bands...ever!

Interesting. I've seen 'em twice and they totally embarrassed the follow-on acts both times by not only rocking the place harder, but with their stage presence and charisma. Gomez played a private party for a friend of mine's promotion company and mixed their music with bits of stand-up comedy and goofy impressions - he said everyone left the gig a Gomez convert.
Guess you had to be there. . .

I saw Gomez in concert when they opened for Cake recently in San Jose. To put it bluntly, I thought they were awful. I don't know what the appeal of this band is — but I guess they have some to some people since they obviously had some fans there. The thing that will stick out in my mind was when one of the group members asked the audience: "Who's heard of us before?"
*cheers* "Who's never heard of us before but likes us?"
*some cheers* "Who's never heard of us before and thinks we suck?"
*a few cheers (myself included)* It totally threw the member off — he was like "uuh, okay", as if stunned that anybody would dare to think they suck. I just had to laugh.

I want Gomez to come rock my birthday party.

Gomez is not a person...well, not a band mamber anyway.
The band played their first gig together in late 1996 in Leeds without a formal name. The band left a sign out for a friend of theirs whose surname was Gomez to indicate that it was the site of their first gig. People saw the sign and assumed that the band's name was Gomez - the name stuck.
good thing his name wasn't MacGhilleseatheanaich !

This disc is a bunch of outtakes, studio detritus, etc. That, I guess, would explain the ragged nature of this and a few other cuts. That's the risk in putting out stuff culled from the cutting room floor. If you've listened to their latest, How We Operate, I think you'd find a very mature band with a lot to say.

I've always liked Gomez, and this song's not that bad. A little monotonous at times, but still overall good.

Sometimes your links to iTunes don't work. I know this song is in iTunes, but when I clicked to link directly, it went nowhere. This happens a lot.

The AMG write-up on their new album is glowing ---- looking forward to it and hoping they'll tour through here again in support of it.

Deja Vu! Chris Isaak, Lu Williams and Gomez in a row. Again. Is Bill out of the country AGAIN?
Yet another Gomez song that starts out with me convinced it's a Widespread Panic song. As huge a following as Widespread has, I'm a much bigger fan of Gomez. There's no such thing as too much Gomez on RP! Keep 'em coming...

I\'m a big Gomez fan, but this one\'s my favorite. This song turned up loud can inspire great things! What a great tune!!! Thanks for spinning it.
One of the best bands of all time, IMHO!
This track is one of many - I haven\'t heard a bad track by Gomez yet. By the way, I think they are from Southport, not Liverpool - I know it is a stone\'s throw away (especially by US standards) - however, I would invite those who think that this makes no difference to visit Sunderland (UK: North East, near Newcastle) on a Saturday night and shout \"NEWCASTLE\" a few times. Take some body armour with you.
These guys blow me away every time I hear another one of their tunes.
GREAT TUNE!!
Interesting pairing with the Beatles track. Both bands are from Liverpool & Gomez is one of the best Britpop bands I\'ve heard in a long time.
Beatles lite.
Maybe it's my mood tonight, but I found this song annoying. I had to turn down the volume. It must be my mood because I rated it a 7 a while back. Oh well...sorry.
