BOOM
I saw the album cover and immediately thought of Spirograph.
Future Trance style!

I ALWAYS wanted a slinky. My brother had one I wasn't allowed to touch. I finally bought myself one a couple of years ago - It still walks down my stairs occasionally and makes me smile. Growing up is hugely overrated

I know that the cover is a 'strange attractor', but it also reminds me of my childhood and the Spirograph craze...

Can we have an hour long version of this, please?
This song’s perfection of eliciting precisely what it says is unworldly. In the darkest of my days this song sings every fabulous sunrise in the 4 billion years of this planet. Lisa Gerard takes the boys’ direction farther higher faster than they could’ve imagined. I hope Orbital and Lisa look back on the creation of this song and our reactions to it with even 1% of the joy. Thank you RP for introducing me to this song. William, great work.

Shades of Brian Eno? Great piece.
Pretty much a riff on “A twist in my sobriety “ Tanita Tikaram

almost sounds like she sang 'repaid' up front - great after the ending of 'The Wanting Comes in Waves'
Nowhere near my favourites of their work, but gets an 8 for just being Orbital

Lisa Gerard's haunting rendition here reaches into the depths of my psyche, and conjures the beauty and joy of life, and the hope of eternity..... moves me every time I hear it.

RP introduced me to this soaring song, as well as “Seven Minutes of Sun” by Lumo. Both started a playlist full of similar RP stuff that simply makes time stop. Thanks Orbital and RP.
ummm, where's the song?
Reminds me of music of Synergy by Larry Fast, specifically ‘Phobos and Diemos go to Mars’
Reminds me a bit of "Song to the Sirens", by This Mortal Coil.

this is nearly cheesy and formulaic but something always stirs inside me all the same..... great tune for the open road!
Sounds so much a track off of Passion, the Peter Gabriel Last Temptation of Christ soundtrack. Still good!
When I hear this song, I instantly transport to the best summer of my life in Greece. Just like the nostalgic smell of mown grass, having these particular vibrations hit my ear drums accomplishes the same thing.
My first listen to this music. I like Lisa Gerrard, but this is not her usual context.
I don't usually do reviews but just got a pair of Bose wireless headphones and this could probably be an 11
More Orbital please!

Thank you for introducing me to this song. And today it played just as the sky was going from black to purple to deep blue. Absolutely perfect.

another seriously clubbing chugger from England, I like it, quite mellow. Good for a rooftop lounge

Great soundtrack music. Great driving music. An 8 for those. For entertainment or party music, a 6.
I've just checked the Orbital Audio page 2, and this song does feature Lisa Gerrard. Hers is a voice not easily mistaken...
Thanks for the music mix today - perfect for the first snowy day of winter here in SE B.C.

The intro to this is sooo beautiful. Is that Lisa Gerrard on vocals? I honestly thought that this was a Dead Can Dance number I'd not heard before. I'm not so keen when it goes up-tempo but it's still enough to make me wish that I was listening to it on a good stereo in a dimly-lit room with jossticks burning and a bottle of wine on the table. 8 from the entranced Nottingham jury.

This is a nice bit of bubblegum electronica, but if you want something truly great dig back into their catalog and listen to Are We Here? or Nothing Left Parts 1 & 2 (both featuring the lovely vocals of Ms. Alison Goldfrapp). Also strongly recommended - everything from the album Insides. For their older stuff Lush, Halcyon, and Impact (and the billion remixes of each) are some of the best tunes early techno and acid house has to offer.

Obviously very much inspired on the albums by "Krafwerk"...
Noise. Awful, awful noise.
Everybody in my churches loves this trance music that features Lisa Gerrard from Dead Can Dance...

Choon - Love Orbital
Evocative and upbeat. Great chill, dance and driving music. But I couldn't distinguish them from a hybrid of Tangerine Dream, Afro Celt, movie music, and such. If music like this is going to be heard on RP, bring in the big guns like Jean-Michel Jarre—Oxygene, Chronologie, Magnetic Fields, Zoolookologie, Equinoxe, Rendezvous, and others more recent. He helped to invent electronica/techno/trance, and long after he began 30+ years ago, his CDs still tower above a lot of the genre.
What, huh, trance?
