Will I make the morning?
I don't know
Tied up in half truths
Wanting payback, payback

Whining drones on a cold sea
Ramming down doors, piling in
Caught in dragnets by fishermen
Wanting payback, payback

Where are you taking me?
Where are you taking me?

Somewhere you'll be there, so long
Somewhere you'll be there, so long
Soon you'll be there, so long
Soon you'll be there

In all that fire and ice
In all that fire
In all that ice

Bury me in the way out
In the past
Oh Lord, how should I forget?
Hung up, pinned up by hammer and nails

Somewhere you'll be there, so long
Somewhere you'll be there, so long
Soon you'll be there

In all that fire
In all that ice…

Where are you taking me?
Where are you taking me?

Not sure why it took so long to find confirmation or why nobody mentioned it tin the comments but this song was originally known as "Unchained Melody" and was performed by the Righteous Brothers. You're welcome. 😇

First listen, was planning on a 7, but the more I listen, the more I like it. Solid 8 for sure!  Thom York and Company sure know how to grab your attention and hold it.

Why? Are you a music-hater?
awful awful awful. How can Yorke become any more un-listenable?

Sounds just as good....

Or better imho

Why Bill? WHY? Why listen to the sounds of suicide on repeat?

Certainly nothing to smile about again here...
I like it and its Radiohead-ocity. I'm one of those who were really floored by KID A and beyond, while the other half of their audience gave up. Although it does sound like Thom is singing in a huge tiled bathroom as people come in to occasionally wash their hands.

So Radiohead. Thom Yorke's droning voice and droning, dreary, composition. Pure dreck.
On the right track, but still too reminiscent. keep it up. Music still needs a future.
IDK. First listen.  ...maybe it will grow on me.

Exactly!
Recently saw them live and fabulous sound. Look out for new track "Don't get me started" which was awesome live
B-side Radiohead...
I'm sorry, what was that? Where am I? Who just happened? I think I liked it... and I want to do it again?
First time to hear this.  Really liking it.
Undoubtedly TY, no need looking up the name of this band! GREAT TUNE!
Great track from a really great album that I can’t stop listening to
Fantastic instrumentation and atmosphere on this track.  While it has threads of RH, Atoms For Peace, solo TY, etc, it's unique and fresh in its own way.  Just starting to get introduced to their new album.  Looking forward to hopefully hearing more tracks from it on RP.
Great - finally a Smile tune on RP! Not sure why nothing was on RP from the excellent first album...?

Got to see their live show last year in a small venue (unlike you could ever do as Radiohead) - they are excellent (no surprise). Do so if you can and a fan.
Interesting.
I love this track. It's very atmospheric, calm and still also very Yorkish.
So NOT Radiohead, but still Radiohead'ish.
Sounds just as good....
