I'm a wandering soul on fire, I'm a smoking son of a gun
Somewhere inside is the girl that I once loved
With a gambling heart, a rambling mind and a face to God
Somewhere along the lines I lost it all

But time and time again
I feel the light again, I do
My hands are mine again
I feel like me again with you, with you

I, I've been learning to fly this whole time
I, I've been learning to ride this life right
Oh, I
Oh, I

As the winter came my hands froze and the nights got dark for longer
It don't get easier, girl, you just get stronger
A littlе help from the wind and a little bit of lovе will make you brave
And it won't go as planned, but it's better that way

'Cause time and time again
You feel the light again, you do
And with you

I, I've been learning to fly this whole time
I, I've been learning to ride this life right

Maybe I just needed someone to come and open up the blinds
Come and let a little light in so I could see with my own eyes

I, I've been learning to fly this whole time
Oh, I
Oh, I

Beautiful. Tearful. Bitter and sweet.

I just can't get past all the processing on the vocals.  I think I'd like it otherwise.

That's not processing.  That's overdubbing.  She sang with herself multiple times to build up a chorus.  Lovely tune.
