Hello, stranger
Seems so good to see you back again
How long has it been?
Seems like a mighty long time
Seems like a mighty long time
Oh, my, my, my, I'm so glad
That you stopped by to say hello to me
Remember that's the way it used to be
Seems like a mighty long time
Seems like a mighty long time
Oh, I, if you're not gonna stay
Please don't treat me like you did before
Because I still you love so
Oh, seems like a mighty long time
Oh, seems like a mighty long time
Oh, my, my, my, my, my, my
Oh, it seems so, seems so good to have you back again
Oh, how long, how long has it been?
Oh, you know, you know it seems so good, baby
How long has it been?
Oh, seems like a mighty long time
Yes, it does
Seems like a mighty long time
Seems so good to see you back again
How long has it been?
Seems like a mighty long time
Seems like a mighty long time

My eyes must be deceiving me. What is wrong with her foot?

Very Jamerson bass line!
The bass line on this song is a killer, it sets a strong groove that everything else hangs off of. With the trumpets and the twangy guitar, I'm reminded of some Mowtown songs and that general era of music.
Very Jamerson bass line!

No Barbara Lewis.

I rarely find fault with the music played here... And yet this is one that I felt went too long as well. Great vocals and really good groove. The song however is dated.
Seems mighty long. I struggled but could not find anything that appealed. Rare for me.

Thank you RP for playing this great song!
Discovered a new great artist, it's long between theese days.
Googling around, plays different music styles, check out e.g Bulletproof
& I'll Be Here In The Morning

A touch of Amy Winehouse in her voice and delivery. I like.
The '63 Barbara Lewis original still breaks my heart. Samantha's cover is really good and most welcome.

Fabulous, Fabulous, Fabulous!
Who originally did this tune? Barbara Lewis in 1962? ...Samantha does a great job!
And she's a PRS guitars artist!
Well done, Ms. Fish...

Really enjoy a cover that contributes to the original, adds something interesting, without taking away from the spirit of the writing. This does...would listen again...

Although I found this version interesting, it does not compete with original by Barbara Lewis...IMO ;-)
Imitation may be the best form of flattery, and a sure bet to advance mediocrity,
But can it advance the spark divine inspiration?

Thanks B&R for introducing me to another great artist.
Remembered the origin the tune, but not the title.

So nice to hear something from someone her age, that isn't pop! She's got really good voice/control. Very nice on the eyes AND the ears!
