You're welcome. I'm not sure if this is necessary though, maybe it's enough to use an audio player which might scrobble live radio streams (Winamp, foobar2000 perhaps). Wasn't there someone who developed a scrobbler plugin for Radio Paradise in the past? Anyhow, the Last.fm API is open source, so anybody can use it to develop a scrobbling app for his needs.

By the way, I forgot to mention that there is a Radio Paradise user group as well which has a group radio playing the favorite tracks and artists of the group members. Furthermore there is a tag radio with artists and tracks that some users tagged as Radio Paradise. Last but not least there is an artist profile, too, where you could try the similar artist radio.

Unholy thread resurrection, Batman!

So I just remembered that I might still have an account here, as I was adding Radio Paradise to the related FAQ on Last.fm's support forum:

More ways to Scrobble - Get Help / Tips, Guides, and FAQs - Last.fm Support Community

Radio Paradise can still be scrobbled with the Web Scrobbler browser extension (available for all browsers except Safari) and Android scrobbling apps. iOS users are left in the cold though due to Apple's restrictions for external third-party apps accessing third-party sites on iOS. So scrobbling the Last.fm user account of Radio Paradise is not necessary anymore, but would still be possible with e.g. manual scrobbling tools that offer a Friends option like Universal Scrobbler or the Last.fm Scrubbler for Windows.

Last.fm's own personal radio stations like Library, Mix and Recommendations also still work, but use either YouTube or Spotify now as the playback source, Spotify playback affords a Premium account then while YouTube playback is free, but ad-supported.

Thanks for the tips, hans-juergen. I was really hoping someone else would set up a 24x7 scrobbling server for Radio Paradise now that RPLastFM has gone offline.

Seconded and thrided! I loved playing RPLastFM's personal radio station as a skip-able Radio Paradise when the live stream was playing something I didn't like. With stale scrobbling data, now the Last.fm stream has too much repitition {#Sad}

Well, you could also try out other "personal" radios from that Last.fm user like RPLastFM's Mix radio which would be a mix of their loved tracks (0 though), unheard tracks from their library and recommended tracks based on their library. Or you could listen to their Friends radio or Recommended radio or Neighbours radio as well. To start them, you only have to click on the links above or copy & paste the following links into the "Start a new station" field of your Last.fm software:

lastfm://user/RPLastFM/personal
lastfm://user/RPLastFM/mix
lastfm://user/RPLastFM/friends
lastfm://user/RPLastFM/recommended
lastfm://user/RPLastFM/neighbours

Recently the option of tag filtering was added to the browser and client URLs, i.e. now you can steer the content of yours or other users' personal radio stations by adding tags to the URL. For listening to the RPLastFM library in your browser, but only with 70s music you would for example use this URL:

http://www.last.fm/listen/user/RPLastFM/personal/tag/70s and so on.

Here are some examples for the necessary client URLs:

lastfm://user/RPLastFM/personal/tag/70s
lastfm://user/RPLastFM/mix/tag/female vocalists
lastfm://user/RPLastFM/friends/tag/blues
lastfm://user/RPLastFM/recommended/tag/classic rock
lastfm://user/RPLastFM/neighbours/tag/german

There are more examples in this Feedback forum thread on Last.fm.

Yes, recording the sounds of screams as you get ripped open from the coroner bone saw. You'll love the hour of bone chilling noises coming from the morgue's autopsy table. You'll get those classic hit like, Metal on bone, rib spreader specials and many many more fun sounds.

Would it be possible to start scrobbling again at http://last.fm/user/RPLastFM ?
