Thanks for the reply.
I am returning my Echo Show to Amazon, reverting to my old Squeezebox.
(Plus, it creeped me out that Alexa was always listening.)

I just bought an Echo Show 5 and am disappointed that the screen does not display information on what is playing on Radio Paradise.  (Yes, I can ask Alexa, but that is a bit of a pain.)  My old Squeezebox Touch displayed the album cover and artist/song information.  Any chance of getting this capability for the Show 5 ?

Any update on enhancements for the skill on the Echo Show? Display of the album cover and track name etc of the playing track (like with Spotify) would be an excellent start, but what would really crown it would be play/stop and PSD buttons.

Unfortunately, that is not nearly as easy to do as you might think. Due to the way that the Show currently handles the screen display, we'd need to create a video stream for RP rather than the audio + text/image that would make more sense.

Still looking for a way around that limitation.

Fantastic! Can't wait!

Although to be absolutely clear, the RP skill does play fine on the Echo Show at present, it's just the enhancements to make use of the display that would make the experience even better.

I agree. Though the information shows up while playing through TuneiI, the connection gets very spotty and drops out a lot so we use the Echo Show skill instead which does not show the information here in the U.S. either. We love seeing the artist and being able to explore additional information about them. Hopefully they add the visual information soon.

Not sure how well the signal is delivered to the UK but you might try - "Alexa, play Radio Paradise on Tunein radio" and see if that helps for now. Even though my unit is only 10 feet away from the router, TuneIn does not deliver a reliable stream for many stations, Radio Paradise included. We experience no drop outs using the skill - which is nice.

I now have an Echo Show (just released in UK) and the RP skill works fine (and sounds really great), but I wondered if you will be enhancing it to show more information on the Echo Show screen, such as album cover and average rating, and maybe as an option (not the default, ideally) the slideshow.

Obviously it would presumably be possible to add more functionality such as rating tracks and PSD, but the basic functionality would be all I would personally really need, as most of the rest would be available via verbal commands.
