I uploaded a new version to the mozilla website, which still has to pass review, but can already be downloaded:

It fixes the known bugs from previous versions and it should also work in current FF 4. x versions

This link doesn't work anymore. The plugin can be found here.

Any plans to add the Ogg Vorbis streams as options in the RP Plugin dropdown?

If it doesn't automatically update next time you start firefox, just do a manual compatibility check in the addon menu.

Any problems can be reported here.

Working for me. I'm loving me some FF4. 0. I haven't been this satisfied with a Firefox upgrade for awhile. They did a  great job stealing all of Operas most recent improvements and getting them incorporated into Firefox in less than 4 months this time! ! ! {#Roflol}

Hi All

I've been thinking about implementing a new feature for which i need some support from _you_.
I thought it would be cool to somehow integrate the new 'persona' functionality of firefox with the song that is currently playing.

For those who don't know what i'm talking about, go to this website: (using firefox, of course)
http://www.getpersonas.com/
And hover over the images you see there.

The idea would be that the toolbar loads an image of the artist / album that is currently playing as the persona theme.
But before i dig into the documentation of how to accomplish this, first i need to know for sure that i can load images of a decent enough quality and for that i need some kind of public repository that i can query.
The images i use in the last.fm songinfo window are of a very low resolution and therefore unsuitable; it would look horrible.

So my question for you guys: does anyone know a website or online service that can be used for loading these images?

(btw, if i do implement this feature, of course you will be able to switch it on/off in the Options menu :-))

Hello everybody,

Greetings from Vienna !

Hi,
That's a bug in Firefox 4b3 and has do with the RP forum page not being to auto update (meta update). I tried Firefox 4b3 on my Mac also and uninstalled it and returned to 3.6.8. My main problem with Firefox 4b3 besides that bug is that it causes random Finder/Dock freezes enough to make ti unusable for me. The Finder/Dock will lock up for a few seconds then go back to normal but it sometimes did it several times a minute. I removed 4b3 and the problem when away. I reinstalled it the problem came right back to I removed it and left it removed.
It's a shame because 4b3 fixed a problem I was having with 3.6.8. (actually anything above 3.6.4) that caused flash movies to have sound but no video except in full screen. This started with 3.6.4 when Mozilla changed the way Firefox containerizes Flash. Flash video was fine in 4b3 and in Chrome and Safari. I like Chrome but the RP plugin doesn't work with it.
