I just grabbed some for his Seattle appearance in October.
This will be a first for me, but better late than, well...

Interesting.  The power of rhyme and repetition in music.  I listened to the other two tracks available, too.  I might end up liking it a lot.  The concept of different mixes for a song done all at once rather than separately from the recording sessions is a great idea.  Those recording studios, OMG !!

I'm gonna have to move his Live In Athens album up to the front of the pile and dust if off.

that sounds good
of course i would need to confirm it

Unbelievable, I just figured that tickets in Hamburg in June are 329,— € for a mediocre seat! Sh..

I thought the same thing.

I was glad to see Tony Levin still playing with him, who looked really good for 76.

Ah, my 3 seconds of fame! {#Cool}

I actually had estimated about 60-65 pieces, but I read 46 somewhere for another show. Maybe it varies depending on the venue.

too bad. its an awesome show, and I hear GREAT things about that theater in the woodlands.... but I do understand about the "heat and humidity". I only escaped houston 5 years ago..

Best show we ever saw there was a PG show, a few years back. That night was unusually hot and muggy, almost to the point of not being able to breathe because the air was so saturated in moisture. Didn't stop me from dancing through the entire show, though. About halfway through the show, the skies opened up and drenched anyone not under cover. The winds picked up and were gusting around 45 mph. He had these two huge screens that hung down from each side of the stage and they started flapping and waving in the wind. The crew rushed out and reeled them in and stashed them away somewhere backstage, but PG just kept right on playing and singing. It was one of the best concerts we've ever been to. {#Hearteyes}

It really was a great show. While I'd prefer to see him with his extraordinary band, it was wonderful to see this show and the different interpretations of so many great songs backed by a full orchestra. In a strange way, it was a very intimate show, which you might not expect with a 46 piece orchestra playing. Rhythm of the Heat, Biko and Solsbury Hill were definite standouts.
