I am not for forcing anyone to have a baby.

I am pro choice.  That does not mean that I am pro abortion.  It just means that an abortion is a matter between the mother and the doctor, ONLY

And that means to me that the father has no say, either.  The government has no place or business getting between the mother (the patient) and the doctor.  In my mind the only role that government has regarding abortion is to make sure that it is medically safe. The government also should not pay for an abortion.  The only exception that I would allow would be in the case of rape or incest.

No religion involved in my solution.

So go put your hyperbolic and vitriolic words in someone else's mouth.

I hope that I never have to make this explanation again.  But knowing everyone here, I will.

OK...so we're perfectly aligned with abortion.  Pro-choice, but maybe not your choice.... and none of my, or the governments business.   See...we can agree on something.

All of that said... you support the government oversight, send a doctor to jail, tell on your neighbor party.  You can disagree with them on that... and love the immigration plans.  That's reasonable.

But even if you don't like them telling people to have kids, don't you think they should support them now that they're here?  In fact, shouldn't we find a way to feed, educate, and improve the health for all kids here?  I'll even give you citizens in this... screw the illegals!

If you agree we should take care of kids...great.  If you don't, why not?  (I'm all for efficiency and reduced waste....but figure it out over dinner, not while kids are going hungry)

If you agree that we should take care of our own, and that we probably shouldn't force people to have kids they don't want, but that's a state issue... how can you support people and policies that contradict your views?

Sidenote...no religion in my opinion either.  We checked out with the child abuse scandals... it was a final straw that there's really no way back from.  If there's a God, they'll support that decision.

It's fine to say that you support the notion that "all life is sacred", and that making abortion illegal for women in 21 states (roughly 43% of all women in the US) is good.  It's a reasonable position to take.

If you're so supportive of children and their lives, then how do you support tax cuts so that as a nation we can reduce Medicaid (which covers 37 million children) and the SNAP program that feeds 13 million?  The BBB cuts educational support, welfare and protection programs, and early childhood development.

IF YOU DON'T WANT TO PAY FOR THEM, WHY DO YOU FORCE PEOPLE TO HAVE THEM?

It's not an attack, it's a question.  In your twisted mind, you somehow conceived that me and my ilk would be happy that the Christian kids were dead.  The only ones doing "Christian" things right now don't wear red hats.

You are tone deaf and blame everyone else for what's wrong while denying any possible personal responsibility for anything because your are the majority.

You all get used to saying anything you like without reproach.  That is one of the ways an echo chamber thrives.

I made a statement: There is a twisted morality in the Christian MAGA doctrine now that lacks any logic.

I then listed examples of the irrational positions that people support.

YOU IGNORED THE DISCUSSION.. and replied with an unhinged suggestion that I must be happy that Christian kids are dead.

I was raised Christian, my kids were raised Christian, and I was on the record 4 days ago saying it was a tragedy.

You are a sad, sick person. Ironic that you bring your vitriol to this Paradise. Your anger, pain, & fear is hard to witness. It must be worse to carry day in and day out. I won’t engage with you anymore. May you find your way to some peace & serenity, some how, some way.  ðŸ™

Yeah, the first thing you did was politicize it.

The sad part is that the system worked as intended and there were even extra staff on hand in anticipation of the coming storm and the system still failed, by your political standards.  And the first thing everyone did was blame Trump.  I was going to let this pass but hey, you brought it back up.

Keeping this on topic, if Biden had actually installed his much touted rural broadband, the cell phone warning system might have worked as intended or at least better.  NOAA's radio system worked, but evidently the cell phone system had some inconsistencies which everyone like you has blamed on Trump.

But it was also in the middle of the night when things go bump in the dark and shit happens.

Being our resident white trailer trash, I often go to bed at night during storms and wonder if a tornado is going to take me out, living in a tornado magnet an all.

So keep on blaming Trump and MAGA first for everything that you think goes wrong if it makes you feel better.
