Am I asleep?
Is this a dream?
Oh my god, what have I done?
Anything?

At twenty-three,
You walked out on me.
Oh my god, where have you gone?
Anyway?

On the ocean,
I think I'm taking on water.
The storm is on the way,
But I will hold on anyway.

Ten thousand leagues,
under the sea,
Oh my god, what have you done?
Anything?

Twenty nine years,
I've wondered around,
There's no beauty here,
No emerald town,
I shall all?, what will be forgotten?
Everything?

On the ocean,
I think I'm taking on water.
The storm is on the way,
But I will hold on anyway.

I close my eyes and there's someone beside me.
Hand in hand we can only speak in tongues.
She's pulling me along.

Follow'n down, a trail of crumbs behind me,
My head's in her hands,
But everything, it still feels wrong.
This isn't what I thought,
So can I just go home?

Am I asleep?
Is this a dream?
Oh my God, what have I done?
Anything?

(On the ocean)
Ten thousand leagues,
(I think I'm taking on water)
Under the sea,
(The storm is on the way)
Oh my God, what have you done?
(Where have you been?)
Anything?
On the ocean . . .

Buster, I could muster a lot of bluster for Guster before I ride off in my lustrous Duster.

@ThePoose

Mustya?
Makes me feel fa-fa-fabulous
@fredriley are you still alive and an RP listener? I was curious about the song and checked the comments... I sorted and resorted by date and favoritism, I absolutely loved your comment.

On first hearing, thought the vocalist was Jackson Brown.
And that is a good thing!

huh? oh - CONTRACTOR. now i get it. hard to tell which comment is more noxious.
Reminiscent of the Beatles.
I haven't had the pleasure of actually hearing this song, but can't help notice that it just played on the LRC about 20 minutes ago with a 11/6 rating. Does that happen often were a song is on both lists at the same time?

Agreed, I just wish this forum had an "ignore" function like many other forums have, that way each user can screen out whom they choose. Only thing that defeats it is when others quote the offensive posts.

Thanks Bill, yet another new favorite!

There will always be a special place in my heart for Guster, I have seen them over 30 times. Local music needs to be supported and enjoyed, what a great group of guys....always friendly.

Stingray is surely a troll, but he's not broken any of the posting guidelines so has as much right to post as any other RP listener. If "stupidity" were a criterion for banning, the number of posts here would drop by at least an order of magnitude (mine included). Someone getting on your tits is no reason to call for them being banned. And his posts are far from "mindless" - intemperate and impulsive and offensive, maybe, but there's thought behind them. If you get wound up by Stingray then you've got an awfully thin skin for today's Internet. Just ignore him. As the saying goes, don't feed the trolls.

Gonna stick with "Ganging Up on the Sun." Don't know what happened to these guys, but this sucks.

BTW, I mentioned this thread to my daughter, who's a HUGE Guster fan, and she said, "Dad, they're Jewish." Okay, I know, that doesn't necessarily mean anything, but I thought it—given the general hostility toward Christian artists in these pages (c.f., Sam Phillips before she was Sam Phillips)—worth a mention.

Jewish? What chutzpah!
My god, how could they come out with all this FLUFF after their last album!?! It was so rocking and awesome!
can't    rate   low   enough
Shalom!
Hmmm, we waited 4 years for the follow up to Ganging Up on The Sun, and at first listen to the whole album...it is very ho-hum.
ugh, OMD on Prozac.  Eminently ignorable.

Y'all should check out the lyrics to "Jesus and Mary." IMHO, it's nowhere close to Christian rock. We saw Guster a few weeks ago—amazing show—and all night there wasn't a single reference to faith, religion, piety, or anything similar.

Pleasant song, not blowing my socks off, nice background music.

Based on the lyrics from this song - which are questioning at best, cynical at worst - I don't think they would be regarded as Christian Rock.

Not bad!
Yeah, new Guster! {#Cool}

"Am I asleep?" I'm getting there, mate, getting there, which wouldn't be so bad if it weren't Friday night and I need a bit of feckin' zip. Mute and away off to iTunes for a bit of blasting Patty Griffin to wake me up. 3 from the dozy Nottingham jury {#Sleep}. A shame as Guster have produced some fine stuff that's been played here, but this is a turkey.

Absolutely love Guster!  I have my tickets to see them January 16 in Boise.  Should be a great concert.
...this is ear-catching...
Best track on the album for sure, "do you love me" is also excellent, great vocals {#Mrgreen}
