I'm gonna call up some of my buddies,
and a few of the ladies I know
I'm gonna rent a hall and get them all and,
put on a heck of a show

Make sure we got a kitchen,
with a oven and a stove
We'll all get in there cookin',
then we'll throw open all the doors

Playin' with my friends,
playin' with my friends,
playin' with my friends
We'll have a good time,
playin' with my friends

I'm gonna buy a 100 pounds of catfish,
cook it all up on the grill
Fix some beans and corn bread,
everybody's gonna get their fill

Then we'll grab all the guitars,
greasy hands and all
Someone'll count off a shuffle,
and man we'll have a ball

Playin' with my friends,
playin' with my friends,
playin' with my friends
We'll have a good time,
playin' with my friends

Yes, we gonna buy some of that red, red wine,
the best that money can buy
You gotta drink it all from a paper cup,
that this here Saturday life is right

Everybody's gonna stand up,
play their favorite tune
You can pick any tune you want to,
as long as it's the blues

Playin' with my friends,
playin' with my friends,
playin' with my friends
We'll have a good time,
playin' with my friends

BB is great and garners an 8 from me on this track.  Add Robert Cray and that 8 → 9 so easily.  Wouldn't mind hearing some of Cray's earlier works here, Strong Persuader is one of my favorite Blues albums...oh well Long Live RP and thanks for the BB/RC duet!
Wow
What fun! Haven't listened to much of either of these great guitar players in awhile. I remember those first couple of Robert Cray albums as being pretty darned good. Oh yeah, and this King guy's early music was awfully good too. 'Laundromat Blues' and such. :-)
Not feelin BB on this one. Give us something better. Give us something off Live at Cook County Jail!

It's available on iTunes, or via Amazon on mp3 or CD.

Fantastic stuff! Makes this sunny Saturday morning feel like a celebration. I've been blessed; I've seen a lot of these bluesy greats live.
I bought this in the early 90s. Very surprised of this very good stuff.
There's a Saturday night theme dinner in my future

Great album! Not only talented guitarist and singer, but great with words.
Holy shit!  What a lineup. Gotta get a copy of this one.  {#Notworthy}

I believe this is Robert Cray with B.B.

Saw Robert a few years back when he opened for Eric Clapton (who had Derek Trucks on slide guitar).  Robert was second to no one that night, and everyone was on fire.
A BB King song on RP other than The Thrill Is Gone - Whoopee!!

Groan. He completed his tour of Duty on This Planet.

Get's me every time.

King of the Blues — RIP
One of the greats.  I got to see him with Buddy Guy in 2011 at the MAC in Canadaiqua, NY.  Gonna miss him.
You brought much joy for a "sad" music form.  RIP
Saw BB play a loooooog time ago. Fare well in the non physical BB, it was great to hear you play.
RIP Bluesman
