Never ones to slavishly follow trends, but always influenced by the times, 
the Stones spent more than one night at Studio 54 in the late 70's, and 'Miss You' was the result. 
SOME GIRLS was Keith's 'recovery' album. Off smack, and not yet too fucked up by alcohol, his 
guitar work with Ronnie Wood, especially on this, 'Beast of Burden', would never be better.
Currently on Tour, they'll be here in Seattle at Clink in 2 weeks, and so will I.

Such a fan would most certainly appreciate Dance (pt 1), Send It To Me, Let Me Go, and She's So Cold.  All found on Emotional Rescue.

Going on 40 years old. And it's the last Stones album which imho could be considered uniformly decent to very good. They were on the starting to lose their mojo, and it was fading even here.

I read all this negativity for other groups in the comments. So I felt compelled to throw mine in here. I grew up listening to these guys. They have one or two of there songs I can listen to. I just have never gotten the Rolling Stones. And this is one of their stupidest songs if you ask me.  I know I'm in the minority. But what a waste of time this song is.

I"m afraid I agree.  This was always a throwaway song for me. I do love the tightness of the music - the band was very much in-the-pocket.  Unfortunately, that pocket was a color that clashed horribly with my basic black. {#Lol}  (And I fear I'm starting to sound like Stingray as far as nonsensical comments...) {#Rolleyes}
