Great song. Glad you're still playing it.
still playing forever never ever ends over it ever neven geez
Give me a way to always skip this song.
Not that there is anything wrong with this, but all the band members look Asian. Except for that red-headed guy on the far left.
OK SURE CALL ME RACIST NOW
I don't know if you're racism is affecting your perception, but I think you're wrong.
OK SURE CALL ME RACIST NOW
Did the literally just put a few song cliche non sequiturs on a the wall and throw darts at them to write the song?
Your question is tautologous, which rather makes a mockery of the point I think you're trying to make.
----------
Reminds me of drunken choruses I have heard sung in bars, at football games. At least those were entertaining. This is execrable.
----------
I was in the Glastonbury crowd for their 2009 comeback headline. The huge crowd wouldn't stop singing this chorus long after the band had stopped. Damon Allbran was in tears. I'm not a great Blur fan but that football crowd was very moving.
oh, wow. i wish i could have been there for that.
i love this song so much.
Does this song ever end?
Yes - it concludes at 7:29.
Damon Albarn will be put alongside Bowie in time.
As will we all
Oh my baby oh why oh my? Please. Kindergarten lyrics and repetition like water torture. I had to turn it off before I started throwing plates at the wall. ya I hate it.
Why oh do idiots post this drivel rather than skip… Oh I get it you are soooo evolved that you can’t enjoy a pop song. Fuck off twat
i bet that was awesome. i'm jealous.

"Get through it" passed through my head many, many times waiting for this witless dirge to end.
I don't agree at all, but that is pretty damn funny.
The ghost I love the most
I can picture the songwriter giving himself a satisfied smile after that and saying "man I kick ass!"
The ghost I love the most
I can see the songwriter sitting there "man, what rhymes with ghost? toast? no I can't put that in a song, let's see... boast, host, roast, coast... no, how about 'most'... yes we'll go with 'most'".
I will also go against all the haters out there and say that this song is a perfect 10. Awesome Blur track about Damon Albarn's breakup with Elastica frontwoman Justine Frishmann. Glorious arrangement and heartfelt lyrics that really drive home the heartache and longing. Just a phenomenal song.
I don't like this song - that's all - I am not a hater :)

I can't tell if you're being cereal...
Thanks RP for playing Gorillaz, etc, etc.
Quality stuff.

I legit thought this was a David Byrne song before I heard "the other vocalist" and came here to see who it was.
18 years and still going strong
Although I find txcharlie66's comment endlessly amusing, I don't dislike this song. If it were half the length I'd probably even like it. At this point though I'm wondering if the mp3 is skipping... if that's even possible...

nearly as edifying as your missive
