Sometimes the comments here show such a limited vision of music that I wonder why there are on RP at all, much less listening to the Rock Mix and complaining about Nirvana.

Butch Vig was a genius producing the album. Gave the band that needed punch
Every day that I bring my kids into school I pass by the studio where this was produced. It is older two story brick building that is is rather plain in all regards. As new M.U.D. after new M.U.D. rises closer and closer to that humble corner I wonder when this little chunk of Gen-X and music history will fall. Sad day that will be.

One of my favorite Nirvana songs. I\'ve never really bothered with attempting to put any meaning behind any of Cobain\'s lyrics... (Maybe I am one to whom Cobain was adressing this song?

What else can be said about Nirvana that hasn\'t been said already? They were truly something unique. Tone down all that distortion and (sometimes) angry vocals, and you\'ve got a delicious pop number. No wonder so many people like them.
Re tlem\'s comment that Nirvana was unique. Might explain why I thought no other so-called grunge band ever sounded as good as Nirvana. There\'s no substitute for writing good songs.
