Look at earth from outer space
Everyone must find a place
Give me time and give me space
Give me real don't give me fake
Give me strength, reserve control
Give me heart and give me soul
Give me time, give us a kiss
Tell me your own politik

And open up your eyes
Open up your eyes
Open up your eyes
Open up your eyes

Give me one cause one is best
In confusion confidence
Give me peace of mind and trust
Don't forget the rest of us
Give me strength, reserve control
Give me heart and give me soul
Wounds that heal and cracks that fix
Tell me your own politik

And open up your eyes
Open up your eyes
Open up your eyes
Open up your eyes
Just open up your eyes

But give me love over, love over, love over this
And give me love over, love over, love over this

How on earth can you follow up an epic Neil Young song with piffle like this?

Ah yes, the epic whiny groan of Neil Young. Makes my bowels move.
always love Cold Play...  i say replay anytime! :) 123K{#Music}
I have to say, when this came out, I thought it was one of the best things to come along in a long while... I'd heard that rather lame song, "Yellow" on the radio, but I was out visiting an old buddy in Hacienda Heights, and he put this on and cranked it. It became the soundtrack of the week; perfect for drinking cocktails to, for toking to, for soaking in the hot tub with a view all the way to Dana Point...
I'm not a huge fan of Coldplay but I liked the relentless drive of this one the first time I heard it and I still do.

Whilst I like Neil's sentiment, his delivery was doing my head in and this was welcome relief.

Takes all tastes.
Coldplay. Oh, joy.

Nice blast from the past - and quite a contrast to that awful new song of theirs ("Adventure of a Lifetime") that was playing just a few hours ago (for the last time, I hope).
Amazing song....lyrics are beautiful.
Chris Martin is such gifted songwriter...I find.
Play this again!

Excerpt from THIS song at Sunday night's concert in OKC:

Give me (not sure i didin't catch it), give me the zips
Give me a street in oklahoma named after the flaming lips

Which okc does have - awesome!

DAMNNNN!!!!! This is an amazing song. They have so much passion and feeling in thier music. Next time this is on.... turn it right up its even better LOUD :D

Love this band, but this is the weakest track on the new album, which is otherwise great. Just too hard to groove to a 1/1 beat - bang bang bang bang... plus this file sounds corrupted - full of jumps and blips.
What are they so sad about....
I didn\'t like this song initially. However, after seeing it on the Grammy\'s, then live at the Ryman Auditorium, you learn to love it.
Does anybody else hear a lot of ticks/imperfections in it while it plays?
Wait until you go the concert - they open with this (or at least they did in Nottingham last year) - it was stunning!
I like Coldplay, indeed, I\'m going to a concert next month, but I don\'t like this song. It\'s an awful beginning for the new album...
