I'd be hard-pressed to choose between this album and "Live At Leeds" but there such different entities. Sell Out has gems like this and "Rael", "Our Love Was", and "I Can't Reach You" and there is nothing at all like them on LAL. And I like all of them better than "I Can See For Miles" as good as it is and despite the fact that it's what got me to buy the album in the first place back in 1967, one of the first albums I ever purchased (of interest now that I'm over 1000 beyond that). Not really fair to compare those two albums (so why did I, you may ask? My answer: I'm not sure I did. Ok, I guess I did, but you see what I mean).

The vocal is at such a high pitch and odd echo, at first — for a second— I didn't recognize Pete - and I own this album.

I'm thinking "this couldn't be any more like the Who unless it was.....oh yeah it is ."

An obscure, I suspect, Who gem. On par, in my mind, with "Our Love Was" and "Rael" from the same album. As timeless to me as anything the Who ever did.

How about a segue between this song and "Jefferson Airplane - Comin' Back to Me". EDIT: Looking at the paucity of the comments AND the ratings, I get the impression that Bill plays this track about two or three times per YEAR at best!!

I've always loved the simplicity and splendour of the line 'You take away the breath I was saving for sunrise'. I first heard it when I was falling in love for the first time, and the song always hits home.
