I seem to say this a lot, but I don't understand why listeners need to post about how much they hate a particular song or musician. That is what the PSD button is for. Telling me you think this or that song is pretentious crap, or that you think it sucks, is boring and lazy and adds nothing to the conversation. If you don't like this party, go sulk in the other room.

Yeah cos this is the best sounding elevator muzak I have never heard!

I  Agree completely.  Very well stated!
EXCELLENT TUNE!!   Thanx RP!
This is the instrumental version of "Nevermore" (track 3).
More highway driving music.
Or jet skiiing Lake Powell at sunrise / sunset.
Cool. Thanks RP

Wow, now that sounds like a fun combination, furshur! This tune is fantastic too!

Yow, I can't stand this tune, but the segue from Low Spark of High Heeled Boys to this was a brilliant move.

This track (Green from the album Seed) also could have been used yesterday around 4:20 - maybe next year {#Propeller}
Waiting for "Facts are simple and facts are straight. Facts are lazy and facts are late"
Not sure if this sound like a video game soundtrack, or a tacky porn soundtrack.. Seems like it would be a good driving tune though!
This clan always sets me in the right mood. Great stuff.

"Hell is others."
muzak
please ask the dentist to add a little nitrous oxide to this please.
So cool - seamless segues that make RP such an enchantment: Traffic's Low Spark of High Heeled Boys to Afrocelts' Green.
It is either very late, or very early here, depending on one's point of view, and this is the perfect music for me at this moment.
Plant that seed! Strobe light music.
This sounds like a Talking Heads song without the vocals...and I don't like it.

Funny! Inaccurate, but funny.

Same here!

Very nice.  Always reminds me of 'Lucifer' from the Alan Parsons Project.
That's some crazy rhythm, man.
I really, really enjoy these guys.

That's exactly what I thought as well.  I was initially disappointed but I quite like this song {#Bananasplit}

I heard the same thing!  Mine is the speakers - I can't crank RP like I wanna during the work day.

Sucko-Barf...

This is really, really terrible. It sounds like the background music to a radio ad for a trendy fitness club that specializes in helping losers get in slightly better shape.
The first couple of Afro Celt albums were ok. The problem is now that everything they release sounds rehashed. It's hard to tell the songs apart after a bit.

You're right. This track is titled "Green Instrumental". Not sure why the "Instrumental" part was left off on RP. I can HEAR the vocals. "Green" (not the instrumental) must be on another CD. Folks here are sure hard on this group. I only WISH I could play pennywhistle half that well!!
Dentist office waiting room crap.
The song reminds me of the album "As Falls Wichita, So Falls Wichita Falls" by Pat Metheny and Lyle Mays

Absolutely
Dreadful, quite simply dreadful
Humm humm... How dare you rate it 7 ??? No real melody, poom-poom drums... just remember this music was just made to bring money to ungifted would-be-artists... Seven year old irish children do better!!! But the quality of the sound is, as usual, great.

Rather pleasant. Grows on one at each listening.

Well, technically speaking, Afro and Celt are both ethnic/racial/cultural groups, so I guess any name that refers to a race or nationality could be used in a racist way...... But yeah, I don't think too many folks are losing sleep over this one.
not to beat a dead horse or anything, but... man, RP can really seem like AfroCelt Radio sometimes. a little less of this fluff would do wonders for the playlist.

BTW, is that supposed to be good or bad? I like it, so I mean it to be good, but if I just go aroudn slapping guys on songs I like I wonder if I'll be misunderstood.

Good song. Very nice drums.

Yes, I hear that!
I have to stop playing so much SimCity4, I'm starting to hear it on RP.

Far too many people get worked up about 'isms where there is none. Black people are, women are not men; there is nothing wrong with this, it is fact. The problems begin when you needlessly or incorrectly give someone a hard time over their colour, sexual preference, country of origin etc. As for the song, I'm with you on that too, nice stuff, will have to get the album.

I really like this. I have heard this one and Rise Above It on RP, and I could listen to lots more from these guys.
Oops! have you realised how many of you like it because it reminds you of another song? U2, Queen, Coldplay... mmm think about it. regards from Mexico Marie
Alan Parsons had a tune sounded much like this. Off EVE or PYRAMID.

Reminds me of the piano line in Coldplay's Clocks.
I really don't like this track too much it is borderline commercial ambient music, now there is a part that reminds me of a Talking Heads song.."There was a plan, there was a formula"....
One of their better songs. I like this. Reminds me of Air.
i can't decide whether i like this or the version with lyrics better...

The main melody line is quite reminiscent of Queen's We Will Rock You(!)
I was just thinking the same thing - I was just praying that it wasn't going to be some awful cover. Boosiewolf wrote:
