Every time I hear this song, I tell myself this will be the time I don't emotional. I lost my cousin and closest friend to suicide 29 years ago. Even though we grew up close and were life long friends, we were arguing when he died. When Patty gets to the line "I wish there was a better way to say goodbye", I lose it. Every time.

He was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer on a Friday and died the following Thursday. On Sunday he would have celebrated his 66th birthday. Love you TC. Goodbye. <3

I see a lot of comments from Oct 6th. This year that date marked 11 years since my best friend, a great young drummer, died in a car accident. This song always makes my think of him. RIP Josh.
