You could be from Venus
I could be from Mars
We would be together
Lovers forever
Care for each other
You could live in the sea
And I could be a bird
We would be together
Lovers forever
Care for each other
If you were an illusion
I would make it real
We would be together
Lovers forever
Care for each other
If you walk in the sun
I would be your shadow
We would be together
Lovers forever
Care for each other
I could be from Mars
We would be together
Lovers forever
Care for each other
You could live in the sea
And I could be a bird
We would be together
Lovers forever
Care for each other
If you were an illusion

We would be together
Lovers forever
Care for each other

I would be your shadow
We would be together
Lovers forever
Care for each other

For some reason, makes me want to get a baguette and ride the Paris Metro.

UPLOAD "DRUMMER BOY" BY VBC...
My thought exactly. Too much. Yeah, I know - go somewhere else if you don't like it.
I wonder what Air/Joseph Arthur/etc have to get played so often here.

Can't find anything pretentious about the title of the album. The french word for 'walkie-talkie' is indeed 'talkie walkie'. And Air is a french band. So what?

Mmmm. The Beatles used a sitar and it worked for them!
Lot of Air on RP. Great turn on! Aslo, agree with the 10CC note below. Need to think about the Beach Boys - especially Surfs Up era.
Hey - here's one that just came on for the next song game - A Day in the Life! And I didn't cheat! (OK, it was the Karma in the Life cover.)
Hmm, Space Oddity, now Venus. What's next?
Rocketman?
Come on , kids, play along...
Parts of the music of this song are seriously ripping off the Beach Boys. Oh, i wish they were California girls should be going through your head, when he says I wish we could get together. Although, I may not mind getting together with CA babes too, so it may make sense. :)

I purchased Walkie Talkie after hearing this song on RP. The CD is quite excellent, save for a couple songs that don't translate well from the French ("Surfing on a Rocket" or something like that.)
Highly recommended.

PS - Anyone else hear 10CC / Godley and Creme influences?
That's what it was!! Odd tunes, odd players.. cool.

This songs brings to mind the movie The Virgin Suicides.
Which, I suppose, makes sense since they wrote the score.
Just call me Dr. Obvious.
I like it.

The vocals sound like Billy Corgan from Smashing Pumpkins. Something reminiscent of a couple of the tracks off "Mellon Collie".

Evocative.
Well said. One of those tunes that are noticed in the background of the day, and you have to stop and let the music "move your molecules" (as C. Santana would put it).

That helps explain why I like these guys...........
reminds me a bit of the Cure, back when they were doing the mood stuff, around the Pornography days.
I just bought the Talkie Walkie album today, this is one of my favorite songs on the album too.
Wonderful, wonderful song from a truly great band. :)
This particular song was not featured in "Lost in translation", but the mood and lyrics fit perfectly to the spirit of the film. I listened to this song on my way home from the theater, and I swear I could still see Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson kissing each other when I closed my eyes. Beautiful.
We've been hearing this song a lot on the Review Channel--it's grown on me.
