Thought I was hearing Digging in the Dirt from PG starting up. DISSAPOINTED!!
Then I opened my mind as well as my ears and enjoyed...
It's not your usual cup o tea. But it is where I think contemporary "rock" is heading. Fuzzed out guitars, heavy rhythm, electro. influence, loops...
something about this is getting at me...in a good way.

Funny. I don't hear Gabriel at all. Not even in the faintest distance, or any resemblance but that it is also a male voice.
I love Gabriel, but I don't dig this. Neither dark nor Powerful.

An incredible disk, and very powerful, dark, depressing lyrics as only Joseph Arthur can write. If you like heavy folk with beats and depressing lyrics, this one is for you. Sorta original, but with Peter Gabriel influences.
