Why, I wonder, is my heart full of holes
And the feeling goes but my hair keeps growing
Will I set the sun
On a big-wheeled wagon
I'm bragging
I'm always in love

When I let go of your throat-sweet throttle
When I clean the lash of your black-belt model
Will I catch the moon
Like a bird in a cage
It's for you I swoon
I'm always in love

I don't get the connection
If this is only a test
I hope I do my best
You know I wont forget

When I fold the cold in my jet-lag palm
When I soak so long I forget my mother
Will I set the sun
On a big-wheeled wagon
I'm bragging
I'm always in love

It's a drag I sang
I'm always in love
I'm worried
I'm always in love

I'm worried
I'm worried
I'm worried
I'm always in love

Why doesn't RP play this anymore?

Wow, a Wilco song that I haven't rated less than a 5. *Checks* oh, hadn't rated it yet. Silly me. 2
Wow was I impressed with these guys on SNL this week! Very cool. I just might turn into a fan...
Not their best, but it is hard to find a Wilco cut that doesn't please the ear. Nonetheless, it earns my lowest Wilco rating ever- a 6.

WAAAAAAY too many commercials. The music is good, love the DJs, but man!...10 minutes of commercials for one song. Wilco is a Chi favorite.
i was actually quite dissappointed when i saw them live....i wanted more of this kind of stuff and got mostly the rocked out stuff. reddirtgirl wrote:

WXRT FM is the last big city commercial FM rocker to sound anything like the free-form FM rock staions of the early 70's. WRNR out of Baltomore kept the flame alive for a long time with a format quite a bit looser than XRT but they have gone the typical triple A route over the last few years. WXRT streams on the internet and deserves your support. The last of a dying breed ?

Ditto! Never heard this acoustic version before, but on a first listen I like it just as much as the fuzzy one!

What's this? Something from a WXRT ONXRT disc? Fantabulous!
Ahh! The first Wilco song I can stand! Imagine that....

Nice. Wilco (and Jeff Tweedy) are taper friendly. You go to a Wilco show and there are literally mike stands everywhere. Because of that, there are some sweet Wilco and Jeff Tweedy accoustic shows floating around out on cyberspace. Well worth checking out if you are into Wilco.

Based on previous posts, that's not an original opinion.
This is a great take. I'm not sure if I like this or the album version better. Nice work, Wilco.

tremendous. more live Wilco!
Thank you, that made my pathetic job suck a lot less for a few minutes!

Ah yes. Tweedy turns a ripped, fast, loud, psychodelic song like 'I'm Always In Love' to an acoustic ballad. I like it. But then, I like most of what these guys do anyway. I guess that's because they are good. Have a nice day, everybody!
