When I was younger
Living confusion and deep despair
When I was younger ah hah
Living illusion of freedom and power
When I was younger
Full of ideals and broken dreams (my friend)
When I was younger ah hah
Everything simple but not so clear

Living on borrowed time
Without a thought for tomorrow
Living on borrowed time
Without a thought for tomorrow

Now I am older
The more that I see the less that I know for sure
Now I am older ah hah
The future is brighter and now is the hour

Living on borrowed time
Without a thought for tomorrow
Living on borrowed time
Without a thought for tomorrow

Good to be older
Would not exchange a single day or a year
Good to be older ah hah
Less complications everything clear

Living on borrowed time
Without a thought for tomorrow
Living on borrowed time
Without a thought for tomorrow

Miss you, John.
Can't honestly say I've heard John do a reggae/ska/Carribbean-sounding tune before! Love it!
Where's the guy that always posts the lyrics? i want to see the ones to this song here remember, everybody, while going through your busy lives and running around, we are ALL on borrowed time, so make the most of it, and (cliche, I know) stop once in a while and enjoy a child's smile.
second! ha! ha! ha! shoot! thought i was second.. now i'm third. Hey, what happened to first?!! Come on AphidA, ya chickened out on me, ya cocky libra! Go John! And Bill! This is definitely a little known classic! It was hard news to take for me, too, Bill. I just happened to be DJ'ing that night at my college radio station WCWM in Williamsburg, Va. Played 3 of his tunes that night right before he got shot - Instant Karma, So This is Christmas, and the infamous #9... I was a bit disturbed when the news came over the wires...
I've never heard this Lennon tune before. I like it. Sounds like there's a little touch of "Here Comes The Sun" in there during the chorus.
good tune
