Blue, blue is as evening out on my own in Copenhagen.
True, it's true that I used to want to be alone in Copenhagen.
Time, time is a guarantee that all will change.
Now it feels strange.
Truth, the truth is there's no one else here to blame in all of Copenhagen.

I used to be able to do everything myself.
But now I think I need a little help.

Time, time is a guarantee that all will end.
So maybe each time I begin to look.
I look to be safe and small in your arms in all of Copenhagen.

I used to be able to do everything myself.
But now I think I need a little help.

I used to be able to do everything myself.
But now I think I need a little help.
I used to do everything I wanted on my own.
But now I don't want to be alone.

No,no,no,no,no..
I don't want to be alone

No,no,no..
I want to be alone

Very cool when artists pop in to RP.

I love this song as well, the clarity of the vocals grabs my ear every time, then the rest keeps me listening.
Absolutely fantastic song, loved it, all the way from Cape Town, South Africa! Question though, can't find this track on Spotify....? And is this the artist? https://open.spotify.com/artist/0v6ZsvpqHQJiB6Kz2J0QGZ

Great!
Love the energy!

And the voice ain't too bad either -

first time hearing this and must say that i like it quite a bit.  45 minutes til the weekend, and a couple hours 'til a tall frosty IPA {#Cowboy}
If you love the singer - Tina Dico (Dickow) from Denmark - check out her latest fun single video for "You wanna teach me to dance"  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z6ZeqDEHg_M  There is also a wonderful concert performed in the historic square in Mainz on YouTube in HD in 4 parts https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7fpuX_tw2Bo
The energy is good for me on this sluggish morning.

Never get tired of hearing this great Danish singer/songwriter.  Check her out on the early Zero7 albums and her top solo albums "In the Red" and "Count to ten" - do you play any tracks from these albums Bill?

{#Clap} As it happens, I'm not a big fan of the Indian mouth music thing, which presumably is the segue link from Siouxsie and the Banshees, but at least it's not overdone here and is background rather than foreground. Her voice is smooth as velvet and just as soft. I may not experience euphoria listening to this, but as romeotuma so often writes, it is good for the lugholes. 7 from the Nottingham jury.

Hasn't this been played several times a week for 5 years now? It isn't even that good to begin with!
I turn into a drooling idiot at the thought of the site of Tina when her voice hits my ears...

Instantly...

This is the first time I've heard this, and I really like it a lot. (Um, and you only have one nerve?  How do you feel?  HAR!  Also, I'm sure Bill will read your comment and just jump at the chance to do what you want, in spite of what a whole bunch of other RP listeners want.  Geez.)

Amazing how much this sounds like Animal Logic. It's really just the vocals and their production (echo etc). The rest of the album sounds nothing like Animal Logic. Great album, combining slide guitar and synthesizers.

Well, right.  I've certainly heard it pronounced "haygun" and "hawgun", and that's fine for English, and that's the language she's singing in.  I looked it up and in Danish its quite different: more like "coo ben hown".  So I suppose it doesn't bother her much to sing beautifully and make a bunch of money.

Mmmm, ice cream.

The song: good and true.

Just checked in to read the predictably clueless sexist shite in response to this song.
Thanks for playing music by woman and a woman's perspective and showing how badly it's needed.
A 9 for all the assholic comments.

As good as pop gets.  Perhaps because most of the rest of this album is well beyond pop.
{#Sleep}
This is a nice song.  The production is a little too busy...too much going on.  I'd like it more if it were a simpler arrangement.
Yah, I think I'm conditioned to her voice, a la Pavlov's dogs.  I was immediately thinking... Tina... is that you?  Um, that analogy perhaps gives too much away... :)

Tuvan throat-singing? You mean like Ondar? I don't get the comparison , yet I dig Ondar (I actually own "Back Tuva Future"). Maybe I missed the throat music in this song...I will listen harder next time. Weird stuff, that, but pretty cool I think.

Interesting version of the increasingly popular genre. Similar to a band named "Shock of Pleasure" out of Dallas.
The guy that does the crazy voice tricks near the middle of the song is featured in some Bela Fleck songs as well, if anyone wanted to know!
seems like so much good Euphoria comes from this album
Damn. I really love this song.
Kind of a dime a dozen song for me - speeded up Dido, perhaps? Not fond of the odd McFerrin stuff buried the bridge, either. Not my cup of tea...
don't care what she looks like - though now that i've seen she looks like a cross between meg ryan and claudia schiffer in that shot. regardless....i like this.
Whoa! Usually don't comment, but that was cool. Bill's moved on to Hot Tuna's Water Song, so I can't be long. It's good to be on the same wavelength sometimes...

The orchestration, the music itself is interesting and I do like.I admit, the girl looks like Malibu barbie "perfect"...its not a bad thing but not necessarily what I seek in musicians. And the words, just my opinion, really fit with an ad campaign for an assisted living facility or "old folks home" so no I dont like this song.
~You know, DJ Tiesto should take this and mix it into something worth listening to.
That photo always make me happy. Not that I am yet another drooling sexist gawking a pretty girl like some people here might think. Mainly it is her utterly natural smile that gets me every time.

Pretty sexist to keep expounding upon her beauty. She IS pretty but what does that have to do with her music? Also, one of the best performances I have ever seen was AC/DC in 1979, and those guys weren't spectacularly handsome. Somehow though, the music still sounded good.
Nonsense. Each of those musicians you've named also imbues a lot of sexuality and power in their persona/appearance- regardless if they possess classical "good looks" or not. Performing music is a bodily act, and bodies have a lot to do with music. This is great music, but she's quite aware of herself as a body making music, and like Iggy or Angus, she uses her body to the fullest effect to promote herself and her music. What's wrong with recognizing this fact?
Very positive and uplifting music. Me like!
She had me when she named her last album "In The Red"-a true musicians title applied lyrically in a way that impressed me far more than her looks ever could. That is the best album title I have heard in a long, long time.
Tina is the best thing to come from Denmark since Lego

Remind me to post a photo of Jeff Buckley or Jakob Dylan next time one of their songs plays on RP. And I'd rather hear Iggy than Ricky, too.
