Body of War

Every tune Ihear off this album is worse than the last one. I'm willing to cut Niel a lot of slack, but this is just awful.

Oh, Puleeeze! (sic) is common to me as a slang phrase, is it used in Europe and or Germany too? I'd enjoy that if it were the case. LOL.
I know Neil Young is an elder statesman of rock, demands our respect for sheer tenacity, blah blah blah, but...
A part of me WANTS to rate this higher because of who he is and the music he has made in the past, but this just isn't that great! 5/10

Spread the word, pray for change, and vote, sounds like the law abiding way to fight the fight to me. Go Neil!
By all means do all of the above...I'll vote by listening to something other than this dreck. Gotta love diversity and to each his own. Bye Neil!!
More dreck from this album. Completely generic tune, dumb lyrics. Whatever happened to the Neil Young we used to know and love?
oh please.

In the likely chance i'll be flamed outta here, what good fight is that? a bunch of people listening to internet radio chanting "here here", who will leave work today, go home, watch some inane sitcom, go to bed and repeat it? While effecting zero change and offering nothing other than complaing about things. if thats the fight you speak of, this country is doing it pretty well.

Another decade, another bad leader, another useless war. Keep fighting the good fight, Neil.

I have every Neil recording, even vinyl, from the 60's. Old fan. This one is pathetic. Big disappointment.
Old hippies never die, they just look, smell and sound that way.

This song album is all about neils political views, of course music is all about expression, but it doesnt help that the music is pretty terrible. I'll give him points for speaking his views, but for the inantention to the music is just too overwhelming. if you are gonna say something, make it sound good too.
I thing Neil is being honest in expressing his sense of ethics and art. The music expresses his ethics, and the cover design announces his artistic intentions. I would further argue, that the fact that the musical score is not highly produced is part of the point. When I listen to the words and music I get the point, more so, because of the rawness of the musical presentation.
Another decade, another bad leader, another useless war. Keep fighting the good fight, Neil.
Great album! I listened to this all weekend and I recommend highly.

Neil sings it likes he see it. And I like it.
