I wouldn't have thought this was the stone in question, surely the lyrics refer to gravestones generally and premature death and violent conflict. I understand Harper's antecedents are Afro/Native American and Jewish - he is a poster boy for mixing it up. On the matter of patterns and the curious but consistently entertaining sequences of music the like of which I have never enjoyed to the extent I have since tuning into RP: how is it done. This is probably one of the best songs I have heard in a long time and there have been a lot of great songs played; this is in a class by itself!

I like markoirl's theory of what happened to Excelsior - Bill captured Excelsior in October last year. After weeks of intensive "re-programming" released him using an abandoned shell user account, Romeotuma.

Interesting analogy to racist comments, though, and I guess you caught me speaking loosely when I said 'welcome,' so I accept your refinement. My own intolerance is not for politically incorrect speech (like racist remarks) so much as hate speech. That's why I don't accept Horst: he's a demonstrable hater of many things. But I'm a dauntless defender of his right to say whatever he wants to, subject, of course, to BillG's overriding policies.
But this is the first that I'd heard what happened to Excelsior, so your post was fascinating. Do you know this for sure? PhysicsGenius fits the description and likewise disappeared mysteriously...

Yup, he posted 5 almost identical comments to this song in two months. Just so we all know just exactly how he feels, and he didn't stop until someone responded to him. A troll, pure and simple, and as the old saying goes: don't feed the trolls.
