Love it as I always have since first listen with the added bonus that these guys are one of those bands where once you see them all the tracks sound even better for some reason like a little piece of the gig is stuck in your head and pops out each time you hear them.

Did anyone ever see them play this live on Letterman? Paul Shaffer was shaking his head after watching Gabriela play guitar and play percussion at the same time. This clip does not have Shaffer reacting. But I have seen one with it.

Reminds me of the coolest little pulpo bar in Barcelona — "Bar Celta" — a trio of crazy drunk Catalans jamming on guitars and singing for the wine... The old guys let the young guy sit in on a couple tunes. Real music. Real food too.

often called roach stomping music, that may or may not be, but i like it. then again i love gypsy kings and any guitar virtuosity you have.  there is an amazing youtube of tommy emmanuelle covering mason williams' classical gas which is also a little easier on the roaches. but i sense we are in a creepy crawly set so stomp on.  (7)

I saw Rodrigo y Gabriela this summer in concert.  They are amazing.  

I would never want to play poker with Gabriela, her fingers and hands move way too fast.

Very cruel is right. One of my definitions of hell is a 5 hour concert of Mariah Carey accompanied by Kenny G.  A Lady Gaga-Michael Bolton duet. Shit like that.

Saw them in a club in London a year or so ago...unbelievable energy. I can still picture her jumping around the stage doing this...awesome. Anyone that thinks this is dry technical skill needs to go see a show.

I had to stop what I was doing to find out who this was. Very engaging.

This will be added to my 'cooking mix' when preparing those scrumptious meals that require a bottle of wine and an afternoon of hanging out with family and friends. This will be perfect for the slicing and dicing portion of the preparation. Just sayin'.
