Þú veist af allri hlýjunni
þú finnur allan hitan
þú veist að ég elska þig
þú veist ég verð að fara

Ég fer og veiði í matinn
kem aftur hlaðin gjöfum
með bér og fjaðrir og perlur
og litla effelturna

Ég kem og kyssi og kyssi
og kyss'og nudda hálsin
og þegar og þegar ég kem
og þegar og þegar

Þú veist að ég þarnfast þín
þú veist að ég er þín
Ho-oh-oh oh, þú...
a-að ég elska þig
þú veist að ég er þín
Ho-oh, wooh-oh oh
þegar hann kemur
Oh-mey-oh-mey-oh

A-að ég elska þig

translation :

You know of all the warmth
you feel all the heat
you know that I love you
you know that I must go

I go and hunt for food
and come back loaded with meat
with berries and feathers and pearls
and little eiffel towers

I come and kiss and kiss
kiss and rub the neck
and when and when I come
and when and when

you know that I need you
you know that Iґm yours
Ho-oh-oh oh, you...
a-that I love you
you know that Iґm yours
Ho-oh, wooh-oh oh
when he comes
Oh-mey-oh-mey-oh

a-that I love you

3 min lost and gone forever
Wow. She's my Goddess, I've listened to (almost) everything a hundred times.... but I've never watched the Uplugged DVD. Cool, there are a couple of her songs I still can discover (I'm not so much into her new album....)

P. Ditty has nothing to do with Snoop Lion. Two entirely different people.

I'm recovering from tears myself, SO GREAT, Top 10 best gifs ever - and I'm a ridiculously die-hard Björk fan... I just share the feeling that more often than not, I have NO idea what she's saying, but that rarely prevents me from enjoying her SOUNDS.
Again, GORGEOUS post, thanks Zep!!! {#Cool}

Stave! Man! Really?? Don't you want to think twice, before you speak so carelessly?
For many, a statement like that is no laughing matter. "History's greatest monster"?
I can see that you're trying to make some point, to be clever.
But, in my experience, when one tries to be clever one rarely is.
I'm just curious where someone like Hitler, Mussolini, Pinochet, the Catholic Church or the Taliban
might stand in your general scheme of things?
For heaven sakes, my own mother was so much more of a monster than Bjork could ever be!
Admire her individuality, creativity, uniqueness, and cutting edginess but please...I don't want to listen to her.
Have always been a fan, going back to The Sugarcubes.  Doesn't fit into the normal, expected, played-a-thousand-times category, hence a lot of people (especially guys) don't like her.  Their loss.

Never mind... Bjork doesn't like you either

Wow, how delusional are you anyway???

Really? Including Attila the Hun? And Tammy Faye Baker?!

Cool Bill, you played Bjork after Bat for Lashes. Bjork is a fan of Bat for Lashes.
RP — Thank you again for playing Bjork.   I never seek out her music but am always glad to hear her uninhibited exuberance.  And, listen!!  We have strings and ... flute that actually work together.  Amazing.

Agreed. Rubs me the wrong way.

You say that as if it's a bad thing.
Awesome... I didn't know of this album {#Dancingbanana}
this is groovy

Yeah, forget Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin, Pol Pot......

I like Bjork - most of the time.

I like this, but prefer 'Big Time Sexuality' over it.

She's not quite up there with the singer of the Cranberries for having the most annoying voice in popular music, but I still can't imagine listening through a whole album's worth of her singing, that's for sure.

I like this. I thought I was supposed to be able to understand the words, thankfully I'm not. I dig the groove of it, sort of like Burt Bacharach doing Bossa Nova.

It's cool to heard Bjork doing something almost 'conventional'. Almost.

c.
Myself personally, I'd like to hear some more unplugged music by her. I quite like this.
The essence of "Quite Likeable."

Am liking this.

Yeah, I agree that she is an individual. I would even go so far as to say she is an artist. But she still irritates the pee out of me. Too precious.

Aye, and she doubles that with pure talent.
A superb piece of music, great showcase of her vocal talents.
Yes, I need this album...........
