Chimes sing Sunday morn
Today's the day she's sworn
To steal what she never could own
And race from this hole she calls home

Now you're at the wheel
Tell me how, how does it feel?
So good to have equalised
To lift up the lids of your eyes

As the mile they disappear
See land begin to clear
Free from the filth and the scum
This American satelites won

She'll carry on through it all
She's a waterfall

She'll carry on through it all
She's a waterfall

See the steeple pine
The hills as old as time
Soon to be put to the test
To be whipped by the winds of the west

Stands on shifting sands
The scales held in her hands
The wind it just whips her away
And fills up her brigantine sails

She'll carry on through it all
She's a waterfall
She'll carry on through it all

She's a waterfall

This cut is quite enjoyable, but intensely pop-py.  Gave it a 7.
There are a few folk trying to get hold of this...

7digital have it for download, even in FLAC.

No link to them, just used them to get hold of some other albums I've heard here on RP. Found them while trying to source Madrugada
Thanks for the pick me up Bill!
the tones man… I wanted those tones so bad in my early bands.
Required dance break...
I have the same Technics turntable shown in the album art. Except mine isn't covered in paint and stuff. Been a good friend to me that turntable, but not as good as my Keff  Cantor II speakers!

hahaha just listened to this again and not even close - very Andy Partridge and this tune sounds more like Colin Moulding
Bouncing in my desk chair and allll smiles now. Thanks Bill!
Well the neighbors just enjoyed hearing that whether they wanted to or not.
beautiful!
even if this song comes from later era, it really takes me back to those late sixties days and parties with black light posters adorning the walls and wafting weed aroma throughout.  Or racing up Page Mill road in my friends bright green VW bug up to Skyline with sunlight streaming through the trees.  Oh,the nostalgia is strong for such days of slipping away innocence, exploring mind consciousness and more.  The power of music never ceases to amaze me.
Not quite an 8, but pushing closer to the edge. {#Dancingbanana_2}Turning it up!
Can't get enough of this one!

 Or just adding more to it.

By far the best remix making this the best the Stone Roses has to offer.  Vinyl version is epic.! People are definitely shrooming in their spaceship hotel rooms!

I apparently cannot sit still during any version of this song. It is just that wonderful. {#Bounce}
Reminds me of something light and easy from the 60's. Nice.

Whether the original or remix, this song has SUCH a beautiful groove to it....!! {#Daisy}

I've never heard this version...Thank you RP!
the original album at the time was HUGE
Very nice
I like it. I hear some blends of Mama's and Papa's, Fairport Convention in there. Nice.

Interesting segue from I Might Be Wrong.
Hot Damn!
Okay. Stone Roses. Fool's Gold album. In my best 10. No contest. {#Yes}

Somebody has been watching way too much TV.
Catchy song built on an excellent rope-you-right-in guitar riff. Great remix.  And hey (some of) my fellow Paradisiacs...y'know sometimes it really isnt important to know exactly what 'waterfall' means...like, it's OK for it to be undefined. Maybe it means she's constantly changing...yet the same? Maybe it means what he feels? Maybe it doesnt matter 'cause the groove and guitar textures are so rich...huh?
Did anybody else hear Wang Chung?? heehee.  Weeeeee!

totally not what the song is about {#Doh}{#Iamwithstupid} (not)
Love this version... because it's longer.
And making this song longer is better!

A marvelous mix it is.  Although I like the album version, I think this remix is better. And that is one funky turntable.
My gang will get you....and by the way:

Song's OK,,but please,,where can I get one turntable like that!!?{#Jump}
Wasn't previously aware of this remix - nice job.
10!
Own earlier mix via a strange compilation (You  Are Here #9—fun CD, buy it if you find it) and love that version, but this is way better. Great stuff.
