The pinball cracks, my psychic friend
I'm too tired to relax,
So I let them in, the big black hood
My pale green eyes,
Too many sides to take this time
To decide
I can't hear the words for the sound of the information
I haven't got a job or a hobby or an occupation
Is this a free road trip or an ordinary situation
Let them all in, let them all in
Let them all in, go ahead, let them in

The turns styles crash, the childs collide
Too many side to take this time
To decide
Which way is out, to get me in
Your failure break, it's your mistake

I've seen you creel
You can't hear the words though the sounds of the information
You haven't got a job, or a hobby or an occupation
Is this a free road trip or an ordinary situation
Let them all in, let them all in
Let them all in, go ahead, let them in
Let them all in, let them all in
Let them all in, go ahead, let them in

Let them alive, let them all the evil
Letting all your lies,
Letting all the people
Letting all your lies,
Letting all the people
Letting all your lies,
Letting all the people.

I like the song, but I find the drums unsympathetic; I'm suspecting a rather lazy piece of drum programming rather than an uninspiring drummer.

It's not just you. I hear the similarities.

Or rather I don’t post ... see below for details - btw the book will be entitled “ Kip Smilin’ “

It's "a hobby" if you pronounce the h.
If you're Cockney, it's "an obby".
If you're a rapper (or Hawaiian) it's "da hobby".

If you are from da UP, den it is "da hobby, eh?"
Let em all in. Leave this song out.

Relentlessly bland.

I say we all just stick to our biases and give it zero critical thought. This way, the debate will be equally infuriating for both sides.
Davy Jones still sounds great.  I thought he died, no?
I propose a new pronoun for words that begin with a pesky 'h':

'Da'

For example 'Da hobby'

Agree: nice openness to this song, very listenable. Intriguing lyrics.

Let the Right one In movie still

Google "klootzac".  It might make you laugh.
The Wiki link for the band ironically shows a picture of a concert in Amsterdam

It did make me laugh! Thanks peterkb

interestingly, it says that a kloot is a clown with no legs

Absolutely loving the new I Am Kloot record. Produced by Guy Garvey and Craig Potter of Elbow. So glad to be hearing this on RP!
Nice enough song, but we've heard it two times in two days.  I fear that after about a week I'll be sick of it.
..easy-going enough for a 7 start spot..

..@ Lazarus-tuma:  gonna start callin' ya Sir Mix-a-Lotta Metaphoricals.. :P

Hmmmm...  an allusion to McCartney's "Let 'Em In", perhaps?  The music is bland as milk toast...  I am leaving it unrated...

it does not hold a candle to their song called "These Days Are Mine", which is really good for the ears...

now I have mixed some metaphors...
