Loving you it runs so deep
Upon the surface here I sleep
Walking a darkened light
Walking all the day and night

Rivers fall the ocean's side
Fall for you here every time
Like a bee to the flower a buzz
Does a flower question love

On our best, the quest is pride
Beating chest and open minds
Stand here in your midst
See you through the smokey mist

Once again for you I fall
Underneath the tree so tall
Upon the limbs and nest and dirt
Does a bird here question love

In the backdrop of the night
I meld into the starry light
The moon pushes and pulls the tides
It tempts the soul to stay alive

Once again for you I fall
Underneath a million stars
How could you ever have enough
oh this must be
oh this must be

4 x
So out from your slumber
Into the wonder
under the star light
daze, daze

Funny, the lyrics to this song  sound like something someone trying to write their first poem would write.  And same cadence as "now I lay me down to sleep."
Saw they were from Nederland, CO.  Fun little town about 30 minutes from Boulder. Worth the drive if you've got the time.
never heard of these guys till now, really pretty song, and then I read that they broke up 😪
Vocal reminds me of Beck's pretty stuff.
So sad this band broke up. They've been my favorite to go see play for the past few years.
I keep thinking he's about to sing "And then the bomb."

Caught them at Salmon Arm Roots and Blues fest last month. Great show and music.
At first hearing, thought this was a duet between Andrew Bird and Jose Gonzales... not a bad thing at all!
I saw them at Wintergrass back in March. They have a great stage prescence and are really fun to watch!

They were fabulous. I was a little afraid that they would be boring in concert, but it was just the opposite. Their music came alive, and they have an enormously sweet presence. Their sound was terrific, great to watch 'em play.

going to see 'em in a coupla days

Ah what a wonderful place RP is, I have learned a new and somewhat suitable word!

There's nothing I can pin down with this, it just doesn't ignite and catch my attention.... another case of a band with a more interesting name than song!
'Bout time Elephants made a comeback  ;~)
Sounds like Andrew Bird
is it the evil influence of arcade fire I hear at work? :(
My sister introduced me to this band.  They are amazing.  It would be so cool to them live.

This song is soooo good ... Birds and Stars .. my 2 favorite things in this world
bought this album recently... enjoying it tremendously. another solid new find thanks to RP  {#Biggrin}
