Yeah yeah yeah
Ooh ooh ooh

Caught up in specialness
I wish you could see
That we are kings of bliss
Begging for misery
We get lost in comparison
Looking outside of me
Now I see this world is unraveling
I wonder who could we be

Oh, I don't want to see us lose
Any more time
This moment is a mountain to move, yeah yeah
So move it inside
Wake up now, wake up now
Wake up now, wake up now

'Cause Mary Anne is a healer
She had pain on her mind
She said, "Your money's your medicine"
But she's sick all the time
'Cause you got lost in comparison
Always pretending you knew
When everything you were looking for
Was already looking at you

Oh, I don't want to see us lose
Any more time
This moment is a mountain to move
So move it inside
Wake up now, wake up now
Wake up now, wake up now

Give it to me, realness
Give it to me, stillness
Give you some forgiveness
Give it to me, wholeness

'Cause I was lost in comparison
Always pretending I knew
But everything I was looking for
Was already looking through
Wake up now, wake up now
Wake up now, wake up now
Wake up now, wake up now
Wake up now, wake up now

'..lost in comparison..'

Could apply to many RP comments?

That dancing seems pretty accurate, frankly.

When I hear this song, I come to my computer screen just to see this.

oy..........here we go with more this hipster fluff
I thought I heard William announce Nick Nolte. WTH?
Bumping from 6 to 8.
an absolute amateur.  the kind of entertainment one would expect at a toddlers birthday party.
8 > 9

This artist has grown on me a lot.

Bill - check out his track 'In the Anthropocene' - my personal favourite. Somehow manages to sing about apocalyptic doom in an uplifting way...
I thought this was Andrew Bird, like "pulaski at night" :)))  Fantastic!  Thanks RP
Was in Portico Quartet? For those who've not heard them, check them out.

Nice happy day song. Got me stomp-walking around the house. Dogs are alarmed. It's good for them.
This is just a wonderful song. Dance like a kid in front of a screen!

That's kinda disturbing

I can see how you might feel that way; I mean, LOOK! How do those earphones keep reappearing in the kid's ears? Spooky, huh?

Most accurate and all things concerned probably the BEST gif on the internet
Thank you once again for the introduction to a different artist, Rebecca and Bill.  This song has grown on me so much.

How  nice...  one year later, and I swear the love has multiplied at least eleven times!  123K
Great artist. Delighted as a buttercup by his wholesome, bittersweet music. But if you type his name out people always think you mean Mick Mulvaney. I miss those days when music trumped politics, hands down. That, and gawd are people lazy AF.

I take it as a sign that I should spend more time listening to RP and less time listening to CSPAN Radio that I read this artist's name as Mick Mulvaney...

This is alternative. It is an alternative to talent.
New to me. If I turned up at a festival stage and heard this I'd certainly stop and listen.

Makes me smile.

So for that alone. . . it's an 8.
Love You RP!  123K
