I was always able to write my way out
Song always made sense to me
Now I find that when I look down
Every page is empty

There is nothing to describe
Except the moon still bright against the worrying sky
I pray the trees will get their leaves soon

So tell me where to put my love
Do I wait for time to do what it does?
I don't know where to put my love

And when it came, it was stranger than I had ever imagined
No cracking open of heaven
But quiet and still (All my friends are getting ill)

So tell me where to put my love
Do I wait for time to do what it does?
I don't know where to put my love
So tell me where to put my love
Do I wait for time to do what it does?
I don't know where to put my love

My arms emptied, the skies emptied
The billboards emptied
My arms emptied, the skies emptied
The buildings emptied

So tell me where to put my love
Do I wait for time to do what it does?
I don't know where to put my love
So tell me where to put my love
Do I wait for time to do what it does?
I don't know where to put my love

My arms emptied, the skies emptied
The billboards emptied
My arms emptied, the skies emptied
The buildings emptied

I like that the vocals are mixed a bit lower into the music on this recording.  It makes it feel a little less like she's trying to beat me into submission.

I kinda liked it...
She's definitely going for the John William Waterhouse look on the album cover, right down to the Titian hair.
Needs more auto-tune.
A new album from Flossie - woo-hoo! Her last was a bit of a dull dud, very un-Flo, but it sounds like she's back on form. Out with the plastic... :)
So tell me where to put my love

In the cabinet?  If there's not room in there you can use one of those Rubbermaid storage containers.

actually liked this poppy tune - she's using restraint...and it sounds like a songwriter singing about writer's block, much more interesting than some of the comments suggest

WHAT?  I CAN'T HEAR YOU OVER THE SINGING.

Yes crazy. Eddie Vedder is great, not so Florence, whose vocals seem always too shouty

It's crazy how subjective taste is. I like Vedders music but don't like his nasal mumbling. Florence is the other way around. Vedder writing for Florence would be cool.

Florence has always sounded like female Eddie Vedder to me. Anyone else or am I crazy?

She sings as well as she ever did, and puts on a great show, but she's showing her age now.

and showing that is a bad thing? she's all of 36 and showing it?
I'll tell you where luv.

I'm terribly sorry.
She sings as well as she ever did, and puts on a great show, but she's showing her age now.

She also had to change her singing a bit to keep it. Wasn't blowing it out quite like Adel, but she was going about it wrong enough, and other "lifestyle selections" were also helping her hurt herself.
Friday the 13th !
