True, it's a dance, we know the moves
The bow, the dip, the woo
Though the words are true
The state is old news
Wrap me in your arms
I can't feel it but
Rock me in your arms
I can't feel it but
Get up, get down
Get up, get down
Feel the turn of rotation and stop
See the next one waiting
Get up, get down
Get up, get down
Get up
Sentiment's the same but the pair of feet change
I know my words will dry up on the skin
Just like a name I remember hearing
Wild winter, warm coffee
Mom's gone, do you love me?
Blazing summer, cold coffee
Baby's gone, do you love me?
Wrap me in your arms
I can't feel it but
Rock me in your arms
I can't feel it but
Get up, get down
Get up, get down
Feel the turn of rotation and stop
See the next one waiting
Get up, get down
Get up, get down
Get up

Get up, get down
Get up, get down
Feel the turn of rotation and stop

Get up, get down
Get up, get down
Get up
Sentiment's the same but the pair of feet change
My baby does the hanky-panky
My baby does
My baby does the hanky-panky
My baby does
(Wrap me)
My baby does the hanky-panky
(In your arms)
(I can't feel it but)
My baby does
(Rock me)

Get up, get down
Get up, get down

Get up, get down, oh
Get up, see the next one waiting

I dig this song. Fun for RP./
I can imagine an RP playlist decider listening to this, after tracks and tracks that came close but didn't congeal to the RP space/time continuum, eg: no cigar to include in the venerated playlist. And then they hear this impromptu gem and it has that something..
Just saw them live - wow very different than I expected. They brought great energy and are very unique. I highly recommend seeing them at least one time.

Smooth, more like a decaf though
Love this band. Looking forward to seeing them live at Forest Hills later this year.
I had to revise my rating upward a couple of times... I was a skeptic at first but I think this band has it going on.
nice cover art.

Nice song, but I could have sworn it was Aldous Harding singing, same style.

The sum of the parts certainly exceeds any of them examined individually. Barely, mind you...but they do...
Quirky. A hint of Regina Spektor, but more electronic.
I love this... Quirky, unique, and interesting. Haters... you are all a joke. Check yourselves before you wreck yourselves.
No.
Kind of reminds me of Poe.
Nice song, but I could have sworn it was Aldous Harding singing, same style.

yes, 7 for the memories of dancing on the neighbor's porch to Hanky Panky - the old days of 45s played on suitcase record players! God I am old...
I like it, 7
The bell keyboards are way out of place. I had to actually go through my browser tabs and see if I had some popup ad playing music.
Is this another one of Bills' daughters picks?
It’s very rare that William will play 2 ‘ones’ in a row:
Billie Eilish-TV and this POS - can do without both

Nothing happening here. Boring.
great to hear Sylvan Esso finally on RP!
Cool, a local act - quite good really. Nice to hear them on RP.
Enjoyed their performance at this year's Solid Sound Festival. I'm a fan!
First time hearing Sylvan Esso on RP... their style is a nice addition to the mix
Very cool. First time I’ve heard this.
