Woke up in
Woke up in New York City
Lying on the floor
Just outside of Marcy's - West 54, wow
You gonna know my name by the end of the night, yeah
You gonna know my name by the end of the night, wow

Bright lights, big city going to my head
Bright lights, big city going to my head
Bright lights, big city going to my head
I don't care, no
Cause you don't care, no

Start off with the bottle
End it up with the bottle
Taking shots, waiting on tomorrow
Trying to fill up, was hollow
You gonna know my name
You gonna know my name

Bright lights, big city going to my head
Bright lights, big city going to my head
Bright lights, big city going to my head
I don't care, no
Cause you don't care, no

Get lost in this city trying to find myself
I went up with different versions
Came down somebody else
I know it ain't right
But it's all in my head
Wow I'm surprised
That I'm still alive I should be dead

Bright lights, big city going to my head
Bright lights, big city going to my head
Bright lights, big city going to my head
I don't care, no
Cause you don't care, no

You gonna know my name
You gonna know my name
You gonna know my name
You gonna know my name
You gonna know my name by the end of the night, well?

Another one worn out by RP. They just love to play shit to death!  I’m not. Teenager that I wed to play something over and over and not tire of it. Over that 30 years ago. Tell me any artist and I will tell you with 95% certainty what song will be played. Same ol shit   RP has such potential   I can also tell you what artist will be played in any given day. Again same old shit!
Sounds like the BKs.
This is a tune. Straight in at 9 but I do not rule out a desire to turn it to 10 on listen number 2.
Helluva guitar, bro.  Blues funk rock.  All the good stuff, grinding out a groove.
first time hearing this.  Saved immediately.  Thank you for playing.
Well, that's a good reason to stop work on a Friday afternoon.
My neighbor was pounding in my door a minute ago. “Are  there  jackhammers going in there?” she asked.
Hell no, that’s just GCJr set to 11!!
Kind of like Black Keys heavy. Or Black Keys is this guy lite.
Grabbed me from the opening seconds - this ROCKS.
Excellent!

if one has a chance to see him live, it is worth all of the extra money and fees that live music comes attached with these days. Saw his b&b tour and he is a hell of a performer.

I don't think I've heard him on RP before, more please!

you're the 2nd person who I've heard that from... I haven't seen him yet, but I have tickets for this fall - can't wait!

Agreed, but this feels a little more down and dirty. A little more bluesy and authentic to my hears. Like many here, I hadn't heard of this guy before, but I sure like it!
Where has this been the last 14 years? Damn hot!

A hint of Billy Gibbons

I dearly love this!
Straight to a 10
i've always liked his style.  sexy.

i thought i read years ago that his first album he played all instruments and recorded the whole thing in his bedroom or something...idk if that's true...

Speakers are fine...... there is indeed some snap to that snare hit.
Glad to hear some GCJr. here.  An underappreciated talent.
The opening cords... The Doors, Alabama Song (Whisky Bar)
