Any old hour, baby, any old time
But you know nothing will be the same
In a conversation I said your name
And like spell it brought you back again
Sends me down to the ocean one more time
Not a star up above, not a living soul around
We stayed up forever, we took the car
To where the road stops out by the sea
The lilacs of the fireweed flowers makes it hard to even see
In the meadow where you're walking way out ahead of me
Down to the ocean one last time
No, I won't stay the winter, you can't turn me around
Down to the ocean one last time
No, I won't stay the winter
Just when I'd forgotten all about you
I did so well, it's true, never better
I received a sealed envelope, the edges weathered
And in it, two green feathers
For the vaults
Sends me down to the ocean one more time
Not a star up above, not a living soul around
But you know nothing will be the same
In a conversation I said your name
And like spell it brought you back again
Sends me down to the ocean one more time
Not a star up above, not a living soul around
We stayed up forever, we took the car

Sends me down to the ocean one more time
Not a star up above, not a living soul around

Was at Nordkapp last month and our host at dinner played a whole album of Sivert (not this song) but for those who have said his voice is the epitome of Norway are right.
Making an album with the same title of a David Gilmour album is a sort of harakiri.
This guy's voice is so cool!

Sounds familiar. At my age, I attribute that to how my tastes stay pretty much unchanged but my memory not so much ッ
Jumped on here to give this awesome song an 8 and discovered that I had already done that!

Lucky is the life in the land of the midnight sun/polar night where this artist leans on the landscape to create music that touches the mind and soul so perfectly.
Saw them live last night at the Mühle Hunziken near Bern, Switzerland. What a show !!

Enjoyed Silvert's work since his tenure in Madrugada, obviously discovered thanks to RP. Great voice

Please explain.
