A good example of a piece of music that does more to impress my intellect than to please my ear. Which is not to imply that it didn’t entirely please my ear, it did, just not as much as it challenged my concept of song structure and execution.
In this playlist followed by Joni Mitchell, which is appropriate.
sounds like someone screwing around in their bedroom, ha
Very nice on first listen!
made me think of early Neil
This is very nice
Caught my ear too. Thought it was Doug Martsch/ Built to Spill
First time to hear this. Really liking it.  7 for now.
This transports me to children playing on the beach.
What is this? I love it.
I have an entire shelf and a half in my collection devoted to "Off Piste" / Beyond Category releases, and this would slot neatly, right in there. A nice expansion of our musical consciousness, for sure.
Caught my ear right off. #8
If I had to classify this song's genre, I wouldn't know where to begin. I like that in a song!
Interesting combination of influences, furshur. Worth more listens. Opens with a 7 from Napoli on the Gulf.
Some kosher guitar work here.
