I Agree!  I bought this in 1970, right after it was released. I was 14yrs old. I played it so much when my friends came came over that I wore it out and had to buy a new copy.  They had it on 8 track tapes. I always had a "better stereo", so, my bedroom was the "go to place" to listen to music! I also had great open air headphones at the time.   ...and, nuttin' was the same after this album!  ...fond memories!   Thanx RP for bringing it to us in FLAC!

My 11 year old daughter likes some of the music I like. Once she told me that a certain band I play is pretty good. I wondered what she mend. She did not know the name of the band or any of the songs. But one day driving in my car she said 'it's this band dad.' and it turned out to be Led Zeppelin. Not a bad choice. I'm proud.

This song, on my buddy Mike's killer stereo, used to make us feel like we were melting down into the bean-bag chairs after school. Well, maybe it was the weed, too. There's just something so primal in the way the bass jams so uniquely with the guitar in this, and the manic vocals, and the absolutely frickin' AMAZING drums. Melted me down, every damn time -- still does, too! RAW ESSENCE OF ROCK!

I think the correct answer is.... "I hope not", or without Led Zeppelin, it's just not a rock mix, or if you don't like music from one of the top five bands of all time, what do you like, or RadioParadise is just not for you.

Oh No. ALL the Zep remastered CDs sound bad.  Look for the Barry Diament mastered CDs.  Atlantic 19126. Those are by far the best sounding. No need for Baking, Brick Walling or bad EQing.

In the days of my youth, and 20 years on, they always overplayed this band. I admire them, liked most of their music (especially when high), but wanted to hear them less. 40+ years later I can finally enjoy them. Only purchased album was Physical Graffiti - was amazing with headphones on and volume cranked (no wonder I'm going deaf) but DONT SING ALONG WHILE WEARING HEADPHONES!!!

I agree that 2015 was indeed a great year for Rock, but I think that the year 2015, has now turned into the beginning of a new era with a new genre of Rock (not just Rock 'n Roll in particular), influenced by 60'as Rock, put together but some talented musicians out there, but on a path quite different from the 70's Rock. We'll see how this one goes.

I liked Zep back in the day, but there were others I listened to more.  These days, though, I find myself going back to LZ more than any other group of that era.

When this album first hit the stores and airwaves, some critics panned it. They had to be deaf as rocks and dumber than dirt. 
Boy oh boy,

These guys sure could use a decent guitar player and drummer and a vocalist.  You know...like Arcadia Fire or Smashing Pumpkins.

Thank you Dad (died 1995 this month) for being way ahead of your time when it came to stereo music appreciation. He really only wanted to hear classical music, but this is now officially a classic!

Yup, THIS WAS THE STUFF, back in the day...and well I remember when I first became aware of Zep -- Mom and Dad had taken baby bro and I to a new pizza joint, and a string of loud, hard-rocking songs started to blare from the juke-box stuffed with coins by a long-haired dude working in the heat behind the counter that made my parents and the Manager all squirm and look around with unease and suspicion. As for me, it made me yearn for more of what I'd never heard the likes of... It took me till a while later down the Road of Life to know exactly what it was I'd been turned onto that day, but ever since, and even now, I still feel as if I was born to forever love and worship it!

I was 17, a friend had loaned it to me, I was working as a 'management trainee' at the TD Bank and I brought the accountant, who was about 28 home for lunch and played it for him twice.  It sllpoke a new language.
I was 11, and took it to school. My teacher played it!
