How far to the horizon
I'm in a rush you see
We were to meet by the western sky
My love must be waiting on me
It don't look all that far, no ?
No more than thirty miles
But I set out thirty years ago
Been walking all that while
Look yonder, look yonder, look over there
Ain't that a sight to see ?
Just a few more miles to the blue horizon
Oh, Lord, don't give up on me
I know it's pretty country
It borders on the sky
It's nothing but my faith that says
I'll be there by and by
Look yonder, look yonder, look over there
Ain't that a sight to see ?
Just a few more miles to the blue horizon
Oh, Lord, don't give up on me
How far to the horizon
I'm in a rush you see
We were to meet by the western sky

Route 23 Riverdale area

Unless you're thinking of Daniel Pritzker from Sonia Dada, aka "Johnny Hyatt." (Ok, he doesn't actually use that nickname, but it would be funny if he did.)
This singer sounds like John Hyatt at times.

Some of the licks sound like Morphine.

Head boppin along to the groove....seriously 6.2? too groovy for that, tossed an 8 to bump the average a smidge.

It definitely thumps and rumbles along...
A tuba solo.
That kinda rocked.
Wow. I'm impressed!

I foresee Tromby Shorty on the horizon...

I was thinking that too, not something you hear every day! Also have to agree with a post below about the keyboard solo, I think someone switched his Hammond with Leslies for a Casio in the studio.

Saw them many years ago in Vegas with a bunch of friends. Fun night filled with some great music. I'm surprised to see this tune sitting at a SIX.
Pretty fine, first time I've heard them. Just listening to the rest of the album on Sp....y.
BTW Leslie unit can be switched off!

I suffered dyslexia and assumptions when reading the title: "How to Fix the Radiator."
Love the baritone sax and the organ — but if it's a Hammond, the Leslie speaker isn't doing much.

Seriously wicked : )
Fun, I like this. Looks like this was recently dug out of the archives. Perhaps more?

Miss these live shows.
Maybe not the best Rads, but woohoo!! It's still a joy to hear 'em. Way to go, Bill!
People! Do not judge the Radiators by this song! Busy Bill is in desperate need of some prime Rads. Don't panic though, the Fishhead FEMA is on the case...

was that keyboard solo at the end lame or what?
To the Limbaughs and those like minded of the world, this set is all the evidence one needs to know that Nawlins will rise again.
