Wow, you're reading a lot into that cover.

Before I saw your comment, I thought "Man those glasses are fugly."
this song reminds me of scott pemberton https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=74jQWrHQp7U

The most racist album cover there is.
Third time I've heard this whiny guy today. Bleh.
More dub (and dub-derived) music please!
You can really hear Damon trying on some Gorillaz sounds on this track. Another good find by Radio Paradise :)

If this makes you sleep, you weren't truly awake in the first place. Imagine sexy dancing to it...

Super Mario anthem?
Damon All Bran's a pretentious art student, who could write good music if he'd just remove his head from his own {#Moon}.
I think this would work well in the sound-track of a Pink Panther movie

Even sillier man... Mali is a country in Western Africa surrounded by land, so unless your speaking of a lake's beach that part isn't right either.

The guitar? line reminds me of Pictuer This on Beastie Boys' Hello Nasty album
Boring.
If you are a Damon Albarn or Gorillaz fan...or like World Music...this is a good album to add to your collection.  8

Bill, play a couple more songs on this album - I need more time to figure out that math problem.

Groovy stuff! Going on my must-buy list.
The sunday nite party is getting better and better..

This album is great. If you like World Music with a trippy edge, this album is for you.
I bought the album on the basis of hearing a track on RP and the CD is on constant rotation in my house, in my car...in my head. Track Eight 'Niber' is the most hypnotic IMO.

Ahhhh sarcasm right?
Miles Raymond: It tastes like the back of a fucking L.A. school bus. Now they probably didn't de-stem, hoping for some semblance of concentration, crushed it up with leaves and mice, and then wound up with this rancid tar and turpentine bullshit. Fuckin' Raid. Jack: Tastes pretty good to me.
Yaaaaawn, sounds like Gorillaz...nothin orginal....crappy time waster
this son isn't quite good, i wish they played more massive attack.

This album is great. Damon went over to Mali and jammed with locals for a time. The result is this album. Some numbers have a real traditional Mali sound and some are more trip hop, like this one. If you like World Music with a trippy edge, this album is for you. By the way, Damon Albarn is the lead singer for the bands Blur and Gorillaz.
well that explains why I think of the song clint eastwood
This is what "World Music" is all about! Keep it up, Bill.

Travelling without moving, people... Great album
I'm guessing today is Quaalude day at Radio Paradise, and I simply didn't get the memo. This has got to be the sleepiest hour or two of programming I've ever heard here. This song fits right in.
Latin tubular bells
Song title says it all.
Prety cool guitar work. Kinda catchy... Sean

Oh, c'mon, I like this, a nice little unpretentious tune. Think of where it comes from (republic of Chad, I think). I just think it's kinda cool.
Tiresome 1
good music to listen to while having root canal work done.
Trippy. Lowers my blood pressure.
I didn\'t mind the song. I wouldn\'t want to hear it every week though, but it made me look to see what people thought of it.
Sorry, but I really like this CD. Chiken\' Scratchin\' gitter....
Well, I'm not rushing out to buy this CD. Yawn. It's got a groove, but then again, so does my grandfather clock.
Jesus How Totally Boring. Should have left this TENG in Vienna to bore the Austrians. They have the alps to entertain themselves with. to the artist responsible for this. oh, it's not called vienna teng i see. hmm, my mistake, song blows anyway. should have left it in france then i guess, and come to think of it, the french have the alps too.
\"I didn\'t think it was physically possible, but this both sucks, and blows\" -Bart Simpson
So west coast retro-hip, man.... halfway expect a zoot suit riot to break out once the hipsters awake from their nap.
wow! this is different... another great pick, RP!
