But all I heard was a drone
Bouncing off a satellite
Crushing the last long American night
This is radio nowhere
Is there anybody alive out there?
This is radio nowhere
Is there anybody alive out there?
I was staring at a dead dial
Just another lost number in a file
Dancing down a dark hole
Just searching for a world with some soul
This is radio nowhere
Is there anybody alive out there?
This is radio nowhere
Is there anybody alive out there?
Is there anybody alive out there?
I just want to hear some rhythm
I just want to hear some rhythm
I just want to hear some rhythm
I just want to hear some rhythm
I want a thousand guitars
I want pounding drums
I want a million different voices speaking in tongues
This is radio nowhere
Is there anybody alive out there?
This is radio nowhere
Is there anybody alive out there?
Is there anybody alive out there?
I was driving through the misty rain
And just searching for a mystery train
Bopping through the wild blue
Trying to make a connection with you
This is radio nowhere
Is there anybody alive out there?
This is radio nowhere
Is there anybody alive out there?
Is there anybody alive out there?
I just want to feel some rhythm
I just want to feel some rhythm
I just want to feel your rhythm
I just want to feel your rhythm
I just want to feel your rhythm
I just want to feel your rhythm
I just want to feel your rhythm
I just want to feel your rhythm
How on earth did you get that number wrong!?
Pretty sure it was intentional...NO ?
I should look on youtube if there are any performances together - surely vedder and springsteen exists
Coincidence, or is Bill reading the same feeds as I am at the same time?
RIP Adele
Sir Bill-any way you can fire up Backstreets for this old fart? Been on RP for about 7 years now (outta So. Cal) and sadly (for me) haven't heard it here.
Not life of death.......but.............thx-
I would like Bruce Springsteen to go away and stop recording the same boring song over and over. Thank you.
Same and boring must have something to do with yourself. This man has written some incredible songs during a long career. Close the door on your way out because you're the only one who's going away!
No way he's 74- he's 44 as he bounces around the stage.
Can't wait to see him again in LA in Dec.
Da Boss!!
How on earth did you get that number wrong!?
Close!
I just realised why I rate so many songs as outstanding (8): the next rating down is 'quite likeable' (7). Springsteen's Radio Nowhere is a good example - it is better than quite likeable but for Springsteen, it's not outstanding. Could there perhaps be a rating in between such as 'excellent / really good'? I think that we all understand the meanings of 'quite likeable' (sort of OK, not offensive) and 'outstanding' (speaks for itself) but what about tracks that are better than quite likeable but not outstanding? BTW I have been listening to RP for a couple of years now and there are very very few artists / tracks that I would fast-forward from. I have discovered many new (to me) artists) and been reminded of many that I once knew but had almost forgotten. Thanks RP.
agree with below, Radio Paradise - Everywhere
Jenny, Jenny... I got your number.... 8765309
How on earth did you get that number wrong!?
Dyslexia, I'd assume.
Radio Paradise-everywhere!
Bruce!!
There's something à la Pearl Jam in this song ...
I hear that! ...Good tune!
Then someone gave me this record as a gift and I was blown away!
Any track from this album brings me back to my room when I was 17. Love it!
I knew a girl once whose number was 997-5309 - I´ll never forget that
jagdriver isn't dyslexic. His fingers, however…
I'm not Ysdlexic either.

The Who — The Seeker
Patti Smith — So You Want To Be A Rock 'n' Roll Star
Elvis Costello — Peace, Love and Understanding
Bruce Springsteen — Radio Nowhere
You got me rockin' Bill, Not being very productive, but I love the set!

totally!
A 10/10. Reminds me of Roadrunner (Jonathan Richman song) Both songs are brilliant, and the fact that RP can play them both without the satellite drone is a further reason to contribute some cash to the new radio radio. (Go Elvis!)
I wish some posters would go away and stop admitting over and over that they don't know how to listen to a wide variety of vibrant music.
I'm kinda digging this song...
Definitely.
How's that clever thing working out for ya?
I got four words for you: Bruce rocks. Go Yanks.
Questionable comment since you've given Dylan some high marks — has anyone's voice has aged worse than his?
Do I contradict myself? Very well, then I contradict myself. (Thanks Uncle Walt!) Now, back to Flogging Molly.

Although I disagree with Mugro, today's follow-on is "Requiem for a Dying Song." Pretty funny.
Sorry crocky, it's time for you to crawl back to the swamp!
LOL.
Bruce's work just got vapid after he left Joisey, IMHO.
Well, I, for one, am inspired. Everything but RP is Radio Nowhere, as far as I can tell. And to tell you the truth, given how dead America feels at this point, I, too, just want to hear and feel some rhythm. If anyone has the right to request hearing rhythm, it's Bruce. He knows what he's talking about.
Nine months later and it still applies! At least now we have leadership we can have some respect for and confidence in!
Elvis Costello - Radio, Radio
Thievery Corporation - Radio Retaliation
And again today too.
Never did much care for Springstone, but a descent tune nevertheless, better than most of his commonly heard songs.
and again today......

I could play this riff on the guitar all day and not get bored.

...Hoping for Queen's Radio Ga Ga next.
