In the eyes of a man
I need no protection from my
Bulletproof plan
Cause I've got a ticket
For all that I lack
You might think that I'm gone for good
But I know that I'm coming back
Sit at my table
Sip from my bowl
I feel like I know you now
And I will do until I get old
You might not see me
Or trust that I'll stay
But there's no sense in traveling
If we've already been that way
Night is an adder
Hidden in grass
Bite like her life depends on it
And waits to see how long you last
But you know better
You stand your ground
It might just sting a little
B'she knows you're sticking around
The beauty of uncertainty (beauty of uncertainty)[x8]

Morcheeba is more groovy & funky
For what it's worth, I got dead air here too.
Yes, it did. And I'm clicking & clicking & K.T. isn't coming back. OK, now it is.
Fixed. Sorry about that.
Bit abrupt again today, sorry
Fixed. Sorry about that.
same thing happened here too
And again today, barring other network issues.
Yeah just happened on my end too.
wtf Bill?

Songs (2016)
In music happens a little bit of everything, sometimes we're surprised positively and others negatively. On this songs i was surprised also. Negatively. Songs (if you can call!!) commonplace and slight pop sounds continuously and unabashedly vulgar and lightly softened up. This happens when KT career pointed to an increase of quality of content and attitude in the music. Why is this now? There may be several reasons, but i only can think of for now, may have to do with specific options and opportunism of market, mundane and ordinary contents to more easily penetrate the youth market (which eventually produces more sales). Makes sense and is it worth an artist allowed to do this? On the one hand, you can do it or not, to me it's a preventable error, at this stage of the championship of the career of an artist with 41 years of age, no longer is a child. Even that resulting additional profits, not being sure that happens. On the other hand, leads us to question the goals of the artist. Artistic integrity? or market purposes?
So we conclude that way: the artists also have the right to their temporary musical zany antics and rantings, for reasons that transcend the objectives, or merits, or artistic quality. Therefore commercial.
And, if perhaps, this means a "artistic somersault" to continue in the future, so it might not be a bad idea this artist devote to cooking......
Note: This cd KIN. hasn't shown up here, and it's good to continue, and if it happens, it will be for the same reasons described above related.

Interesting comment, sha!
and yes!
I like it!
Not enough anything, mate. It is so bland and lifeless. If song's were occupations, this one would be accountancy.
What do you call a statistician? Someone good with numbers but who doesn't have the personality for accounting. Nyuck nyuck nyuck.
...or one small woman :o)

"It's funny that she actually really looks like her mother when she was adopted :/ But how lovely are her rents?! (: I adore KT, she's just so real. " dorkslashloserrr
THANKS KT & CREW!!
oh .... THANKS RP!
THANKS KT & CREW!!
Oh, the audacity! Perish the thought of songwriters being introspective.
Love everything she does except the Black Horse. Acoustic Extravaganza is one of my most played albums.
Exactly. 7?

So then, the band..
Sam Lewis on guitar on the left
Obviously KT Tunstall on vocals and guitar
Kenny Dickenson (who went mental and broke a fluffy drumstick) on keyboard, trumpet and some other stuff
Luke Bullen on drums (drummer and percussionist, joined Joe Strummer and The Mescaleros)
Arulf Linder on bass and cello
Plus Cat Sforza and Gita Harcourt as backing vocals
Night is an adder
Hidden in grass. . .
Beauty eh, no uncertainty.
Absolutely nothing to say.
Just like having this pic at the top of the page.
Drastically Fantastic...
She makes me feel like a 13 year old boy again...
I agree with you on both counts!
I had a friend who did exactly that, and I'm nostalgic for the days when I used to accompany him to HMV on his occasional trips home and help him fill up a shopping trolly with CDs and then watch the look of amazement on the shop assistant's face.
Nice to have him around again though.

I disagree completely with the first two sentences, but the last metaphor is funny!
This song is really growing on me, as is KT herself. Edging towards a nine and a bit of a crush...
Edit: I bought this CD up in Orkney a few weeks back, and it's the dog's bollox, every song a cracker. And yes, I'd have bought it even without herself and her big instrument and kinky boots on the cover, honest :o)
Similar progression is found in 'Wicked Game'
Thanks, I agree.
Woops. Fell asleep.
Funny Patrick, I really LOL'ed on that one.

Which makes it just fine for me as I do my debits and credits . . .

Naw .... this has an actual melody.

This comment annoys me so much, on so many levels, I'm going to increase my rating from 8 to 10.
( I'm an accountant; I adore KT Tunstall; this song is beautiful and poetic; the comment's hideous grammar)
Woops. Fell asleep.
Not enough cowbell for you?

a solid NEGATIVE 2 just due to the number of times we are subjected to hearing her.
Not enough cowbell for you?
Esta melodia faz me lembrar a musica dos Morcheeba mas em melhor ^^
Definitely similarities to Morcheeba
