Uh... I assume you're responding to me?
If so, the master is sitting in my office and the limited copies are floating around somewhere...
PS...where is your Debut CD rear door person??

Bzzzzt!
"What is the most over-used chord-progression on Earth that should only be used for a songwriter's first composition to impress his/her 12 year-old friends or otherwise elaborated upon so impressively that the dullness of the same 4 chords repeated endlessly is completely overlooked?"
: That's right! You win this song! Congratulations!

Yes, and I nearly turned this off immediately on hearing those first few strums.
But it turns out I don't hate this nearly as much. Just don't particularly care for it, either.
This is suspiciously similar to Israel Kamakawiwo'ole's rendition of "Somewhere over the Rainbow". I'm not impressed.

I came here to say the exact same thing. Just seemed a little more upbeat.
Great song, dummy, oh spoiled one that must have to have everyting perfect. Mozart mimics Beethoven who mimics Bach sometimes, so what, it's just music poetry, feelings. Get a life dude. Go smell some roses please, oh excuse me, roses all smell the same? you're in trouble I suspect.

I think that's why I like it.

there are only so many notes and combinations out there, it's a nice tune, that's good enough for me

I don't know... U2 made millions with this same progression in With or Without You. I don't remember anyone complaining about the chords or the repetition. Actually, now that I think about it, I was complaining about it back then.
Martinez & Guthrie - Bye
