If I could
Give anything I could
If my thoughts could do you good
If I could help you with
This spart of life you've got to live
You could load your weight on me
If I meant to you
What you mean to me
Your fight would also me
The greatest thing
You could do for me
If I knew
When your pain be shining through
I could be watching over you
If I'd been close
I could reach the things to use
And know just what to do
One thing I will do
To never let you go
Never let you go
Never let you go
Give anything I could
If my thoughts could do you good
If I could help you with
This spart of life you've got to live
You could load your weight on me

Good voice, and good supporting musicians
In one week from now I will see her live on stage at Konzerthaus Dortmund.

Considering how many beautiful women there are in Sweden, I've always thought that Swedish men must have won some kind of genetic lottery.
And a lot of these beauties seem to have very nice voices, too!

When I'm in the right (mellow) mood, I can listen to her sing all night. After discovering her here, I was smitten, but her CDs were relatively expensive. Then Amazon briefly offered a set of her first five albums for less than one formerly cost and I hit that one like a duck on a June bug! I suppose it's possible to OD on SZ, but what a way to go!
Snap, Mello, mary J loves the sounds flowing ,loud enough to drown out the sound of the American jets practising manouveuvers with some of our fly boys. Chinese threatening to get a yen for the dollar to lose fuel barrelage stranglehold , for one. wgsu_1978 wrote:

As beautiful Sophie Zelmani is, I believe this photo may be of some Brazilian model hired to pose in a music video.
You may be right, MinMan.
The pic appears to be lifted from this video:

I replaced it with a bona fide SZ pic. ; )

LOL! I'm guessing the 'H' doesn't stand for the normal 'honest' here, does it? And I'm with you guys; sweet and strong voice and a cut brunette; dingdingding! Still only gets a 7 rating from me; I'd like to give her an 8.5, but we haven't met yet.
I believe the "H" in that abbreviation stands for "humble".

I thought the "H" stood for "humble" in that acronym. No matter.

We have a doppelganger for this singer in the UK - she is called Katie Melua and was born in Georgia (European country not US state) and moved to Northern Ireland.
Voice pitch, vocal style and even physical looks are all very similar.

The slight arpeggiated piano melody is a bit distracting to me. Maybe a more sparse arrangement with that element would help me like this more.

IMHO Sophie Zelmani can do no wrong, musically. As for her other stuff…no wrong there, either, IMHImagination.

That's exactly why I don't like it. But don't let that bother you.
Is it just me, or is the CD cover ever so subtly alluring and erotic? Something about it gets me just there . Which I can also say about this song, which is just so sweet and poignant and affecting. 8 from the enamored Nottingham jury.

When it comes to the name Sophie, all I can think of is how David Carradine said, "Sophie" in Kill Bill.

As cool as a cool thing that's been fairly well cooled down

The album is a cavalcade of sleepiness . . .
I'm liking this. Sophie has such a voice.
Sounds great from an immediate listen.
