There is only ONE TUNE by them on the playlist. PLEASE ADD MORE. Thank You.
Please play MORE TUNES by this band!! Thank You!
I like it!! I never heard of them before this. That is why we come here. Thanx RP!
Surpassingly good, stuff like this keeps me listening in spite of too much cacaphonic jazz, soporific Big Band & endlessly repetitive banality!
I just realised we saw these guys play TWICE at festivals in the UK this year by accident. My wife was gobsmacked to see them playing, as the last time she saw them was when living in Australia in the middle of nowhere a lifetime ago.
I thought I recognised the sound!
Who would have thought I'd hear them again as they are such a unknown band, even through they have been touring for decades. . . . Ahhh, that will be Radio Paradise then!

Hmmmm. Mark Robson just might like that term "youngster". I believe the band dates back to 1988.

Highly interesting...
Heard this for the first time, I think, and it reminds me of Younger Brother too...... Very cool music.
Thanks RP for introducing so much 'new' music to me.
Lovely music :)
Yes, it reminds of Tangerine Dream or maybe more Klaus Schulze. That was many years ago...
Something in the bass line reminds me of Japan - Mick Karn, sadly no longer with us.
edit: the more I hear it, the more Japan samples seem to be in there. Perhaps I'm wrong ...

Man, that was great!
This needs to be played more
Nice beat!
This Kangaroo Moon thing sounds like Tangerine Dream.
Tangerine Kangaroos?
Tangerine Kangaroos?
It's the Ozrics from Down Under! Or should that be Auz-rics?

Just bought it from iTunes, but I gotta pay €0,99 for it and can't download it from Amazon for $0,99. That sucks.

Oh believe me, there are literally hundreds of favorites I just don't bother to rate. Why throw the obligatory 10 at every Beatles, Byrds, Stones, Dylan, LZ, PF, Who, Jimi, Joni, Petty, Miles, REM, Neil Young, P. Gabriel cut? I don't need to remind myself that I love them.
Well I just checked your ratings, and you've rated at least 100 songs with a 4 or lower. If thats 1% then YES thats eerie

This was boring 45 minutes ago.
Sounds like Ozric Tentacles in the bath

Shades of Afro-Celt Sound System. Very nice, though the running water makes me want to go for a pee :)

hahaha! I forgot these guys existed! Takes me back (alas) to my patchwork trouser, army boot, dreadlocked days of Glastonbury when you could still hurl yourself over the fence! Cheers for the reminder!
This is going no where.

Kinda remeniscent of Dengue Fever.
fantastic
Enjoyable, in a non-thinking sort of way.

I totally don't understand all the folks who seem to dislike most of what they hear on RP? Why do you listen then? I looked at my curve of ratings and they're almost across the board between 6 and 10...very very few lower than 5. It's this statistical correspondence between what Bill plays and what I like to hear that keeps me listening. WTF are all you people with mainly negative rating curves doing here? Go away, and take your dumb emoticons with you.
Well I really like this as well...but I still think your post is stupid...nobody likes EVRYTHING played here....do they?
Well written - RP is one of the best for diversity. Great listening anytime of day or night! Big thumbs up and sod off the none converted, listen to something else!

Sorry, it's rejected now, even though it have reached a rate of 83%!
Okay, Yesterday I received my CD in the mail from Klangbad. They charged 14.50 Euros + 2.00 Euros for "P&P". My credit card got hit for $21.38 USD, which gives an exchange rate of 1.296. On the mailer envelope there were three stamps with "145" on them, and a grey label marked Deutsche Post FILIALE 0.70 EUR. Not sure how all of this translates to - I would guess that the 145 means 1.45 EUR so that the total postage cost might be 5.05 EUR ($6.54 USD).
Their web design doesn't give you the warm fuzzies you are used to from the likes of Amazon, but it does work at least in the gross sense of getting the product to you!
Curiously, Order Enqiry on their site shows the status of my order of June 6 as "Bestellungseingang" (Order Entry?).

I Just ordered this CD from Klangbad Shop because it wasn't on Amazon and wasn't on CD Baby.
Anybody have any experience with them? They seem to be in Denmark.
In an interview with the British magazine TNT, Kangaroo Moon-frontman Mark Robson describes the style of his band as 'Celtic-inspired didgeridoo-driven trance dance'. Thus Robson pokes fun at such attempts at stylistic categorisations, because Kangaroo Moon have little interest in genres and their barriers. This band combines psychedelic rock with world music, acoustic sounds with electronica, catchy vocal passages with excessive trance-instrumentals, etc. Kangaroo Moon manage to incorporate and combine such diverse sounds as Australian didge-sounds with afro-cuban rhythms and celtic tin whistle - and all in one song! Sometimes the listener can also discern middle eastern phrasings. While doing all this, the band still manages to groove very natural, so that their audience's will to dance is only too understandable.
oh dear; the disco really blares on this one.
Bet you won't hear this on any clear channel station!

Please don't talk over the intro!
strange beautiful sound
Pretty good background music...not much else.
A very provocative sound... however they might profit from the rule "always leave the audience wanting more".
Great stuff mate!
Heard this in the LRC yesterday and gave it a definite thumbs up. Glad to see it on the main channel today.
Will definitely have to check out more by these guys.
