What's with all the negative comments? I think this song is quite sublime with its peaceful, drifting mood: the sort of thing you'd listen to very softly up in an old, forgotten attic while watching the summer twilight outside the window...

Although it has its moments, and I have a soft spot for Portland bands, it plods in spots. I'm sure that plodding was done on purpose and was supposed to be artistic, but it gets annoying after awhile. . .

YEAH!  I have a hard time with understanding the vocals, but I have this weird deafness - I can only register certain frequencies, and this vocalist sings in that shadow-realm that I can't quite distinguish, so it sounds to me like he's mouthing gibberish. If I had the lyrics, I'd be able to know what he's singing. Still, I like the eclectic mix of violin, vocal, and herky-jerky beat.

This song would be good in a small, comfortable venue in the heart of Pioneer Square. Giving it a 6, until I hear it a few more times or get the lyrics. {#Sunny}

Violins and banjos make this song likable for me.  Reminds me of The Magnetic Fields, who use cello and banjo in many of their songs.
