Minor detail, in case Bill or Rebecca are reading: It isn't THE Eagles - just Eagles. All the way back to the 1st record.
If I had a time machine, I'd go back in time and make sure the Eagles never happened.
I'd probably let Joe Walsh slide, though. The James Gang wasn't half bad.
Wow. This is awful. I expect more from the Eagles.
Nice follow on from the man who wrote "Peaceful Easy Feeling", and was
of course made famous by the Eagles.
I have ALL Eagles albums and I have to say that the, Long Road Out Of Eden CD,stands up to their early years.I remember one vinyl LP that had a funny smell,maybe the scent of California!?{#Wink}  Outlaw Man on volume 11 is a #9 for me.{#Cowboy}
Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! Excellent!
Thanks for Playing this and Anything from Desperado!
The bestest Eagles Album ever!!

Great Bill!  I know they're contrived & self indulgent, etc., but a little Eagles ever now & again never hurt anyone!  :-)

I agree. Always loved the bass line in this song. The bass player's off in his own little world in the last minute or so.

Priceless.  Another cultural marker of the 70's.  Now we just need some Loggins and Messina and Doobie Brothers from the same era...

Except that RP is anti-Doobies, for some reason. This I understand in relation to post-Taking It to the Streets albums, inasmuch as Michael McDonald changed the group from being guitar-driven to almost fully keyboard-driven, creating horribly boring recordings in so doing.

That said, I tried uploading two tracks from The Captain & Me to the LRC, but Rebecca rejected them before even allowing any sort of listener vote tally. Go figure........

Ah! Back in the "good 'ol days"! {#Cowboy} Wonder if Jackson Browne co-wrote this one too?

Oh wow, major blast from the past!  My two older brothers had this album and it was my introduction to the Eagles.  Love it, love it, love it!
