Hello, RPeeps!  A long, long time ago I was active on the boards with the username indigo_xia. I tried to reset the password, but I think that the email I'd used for that account is dead. So I made a new account.  I'm posting this evening because of my partner's Kickstarter, which is ending soon. If you'd be kind enough to consider the following, I'd appreciate it! My partner Glen created a Kickstarter to fund his indie comic line Sgt. Sasquatch: The Bigfoot of Liberty. I'm telling you all about it now as a Hail Mary to get the word out in the last hours of the campaign. It ends Tuesday evening, and there are $5,000 left to raise. Although I'm clearly biased, I think the comic kicks butt. You can judge for yourself by reading the first five pages of the first issue. Also, author and columnist Susan Jane Bigelow gave a positive review of the first issue. My involvement in all of this is, well, I love the guy and want to see him achieve his dream of creating comics full-time. IMO he's on to something here. When we get the saddle-stitched version of the first issue (printed on letter-sized paper at FedEx/Kinkos) in front of people, it sells. I'm also Glen's letterer, web developer, and effectively agent. If you've got a few bucks to spare, please pledge to the Kickstarter. Kickstarter campaigns are all-or-nothing, so if the funding goal isn't met no money will be collected. In other words, it's a pretty risk-free pledge. And even if you don't want to pledge, if you'd post about the Sgt. Sasquatch campaign on Facebook and other social media, that would be a big help.
